Is it selfish to ask
For more than one me?
A me for every person
Every friend in need
To worry less 'bout leaving somebody out
To be there without a doubt
Blame myself less
For the reason they're in distress
If I could just be there for them
Fix the stitching of the hem
...But there aren't a million me's
So get up get off your knees
Focus on who you have helped
Not who you missed
You know you try your hardest
Don't start thinking of the darkest
