Part 4

Naori opened her eyes slowly. She saw bright light in front of her eyes and smell of medicine, "where am i?" asked Naori. She tried to move but the pain in her lower stomach stopped her.
"Don't move," said a man next to her.
Naori looked to her side, she saw a silhouette of a man.
"I will call Sakura, okay? You stay here," asked the man as he ran away from her side.
Naori rub her eyes slowly, "it's the hospital bed." She caress her stomach slowly, "i guess i'm not die yet."
Not long after Sakura came in with Kakashi.
"Hokage sama.. Sakura.." Naori tried to sit up.
"Senpai.. Don't move.. Your wound will be opened if you move too much," Sakura said as she laid Naori down.
Naori looked at Sakura, "thank you, Sakura."
"Naori.. Are you okay?" asked Kakashi warily.
Naori smiled tenderly to Kakashi, "been better, senpai."
Kakashi chuckled hearing Naori's words.
"How do you know that i was being attacked, senpai?" asked Naori.
"The protection i put in you," answered Kakashi.
"Ah.. Yes.. Thank you so much, senpai," Naori said softly.
"Senpai, you need to take bed rest for a week," Sakura said as she check Naori's bandage.
Naori nodded, "thank you, Sakura."
Sakura nodded and walked out of her room.

Kakashi caress Naori's hair and put a strand of her hair behind her ear, "why didn't you tell me that you will go?" asked Kakashi softly as Sakura walked out.
"I'm sorry, senpai. I was summoned by Mifune sama to come to iron nation. I want to tell you, but you were busy for Hokage inaguration."
"Wait, so you didn't plan to move to iron nation?" asked Kakashi.
Naori shook her head, "why would i?"
"But.. But.. You've gone for long time and Izumo said you bring big bag."
"Yes. I trained my katana skill with the samurai there. Also, the big bag? It's my father's belonging that belong to iron nation," answered Naori.
Kakashi slumped his body to the chair, "i thought you will leave."
Naori chuckled hearing Kakashi, "Konoha is my home, senpai."
Kakashi smiled tenderly seeing Naori, "i miss you. You know that?" asked Kakashi.
"I'm glad there is someone who miss me," answered Naori softly.
Kakashi caress Naori's cheek softly, "i love you. You know that, don't you?"
Naori smiled softly, "i know. Thank you for loving me, senpai. And thank you for everything."
Kakashi smiled gladly, "thank you for letting me love you."
"Senpai!" suddenly a loud blonde boy barge in loudly.
"Baka! This is hospital!" Sakura slap Naruto's head.
"Itai... Sakura chan.. That's hurt," Naruto said as he rub his head.
Naori chuckled seeing Naruto and Sakura, "you remind me of my teammates. Shota and Tsuki. They always arguing with each other, but, inseparable."
Naruto grinned and walked closer to Naori, "how are you, senpai?" asked Naruto.
"Been better, Naruto. How's your arm?" asked Naori softly.
"Been better," answered Naruto as he grinned.
Naori chuckled hearing Naruto, "so, how're you with Hinata hime?" asked Naori.
Naruto was blushing, "that's... Ee... We.. We're fine."
"Wow.. I never heard you stuttered before. I guess i've seen another side of Naruto," Naori said jokingly.

Naori was alone in her room reading a book when Sakura came in.
"Senpai.. Good morning," Sakura smiled as she held a clipboard.
"Ahh... Sakura.. Good morning," Naori smiled softly as she sat straight up. But, she grimaced in pain.
"Don't push yourself, senpai... It's okay.." Sakura helped her immediately.
Naori nodded and laid back to the bed as Sakura looked down sadly. Naori stared at Sakura, "what's wrong, Sakura?" asked Naori.
"Senpai.. I'm sorry to tell you this. But...." Sakura silence trying to find the words.
Naori looked at Sakura sternly, "it's okay, Sakura. Tell me."
Sakura gazed at Naori. Her eyes showing sadness, "it's about you. You.." Sakura was silence again.
Naori took sakura's hand and smiled softly at Sakura then she nodded.
"Your wound is too severe. We did heal the wound, but... We your womb is... Severed.. So, You..." Sakura closed her eyes.
Naori stared at Sakura waiting for her.
"You.. Wouldn't be able to have child," Sakura said softly.
Naori's eyes widened as she took her hand from Sakura. Her eyes filled with tears, but she tried to hold it.
"Senpai.." Sakura said softly as she hold Naori's hands. Her hands were so cold like snow.
Naori looked up at Sakura as she smiled. But, Sakura could see sadness in her eyes, "it... " Naori couldn't said anything but her eyes told everything to Sakura as the tears cascaded.
"Senpai... I'm sorry," Sakura glanced sadly to Naori.
Naori calmed herself and shook her head, "no.. It's okay. I.. I don't have any plan to be with anyone.." Naori said softly but full of sorrow.
"Senpai.. Don't say that..." Sakura stared at Naori.
Naori smiled, "Sakura.. Thank you for telling me the truth. But, please don't tell about this to anyone. Specially...... Your sensei."
Sakura looked at Naori, "senpai.. I want to ask something."
Naori nodded.
"Do you.. Love Kakashi sensei?" asked Sakura.
Naori's eyes widened. Then she smiled, "maybe, Sakura. I don't know. I feel calm when i'm with him, just like when i was with Shisui. I feel....safe. But, i don't want to love him now, Sakura. Moreover knowing about..." Naori looked at her stomach sadly.
"Senpai..." Sakura looked at Naori when suddenly Kakashi opened the door.
"Ah.. Sorry.. Am i interrupting?" asked Kakashi as he held a flower bouquet of white lily, camellia and tube roses.
"Sensei.. No.. It's okay," Sakura smiled to Kakashi, "i'm finished with Naori senpai. So, you need to take rest more okay?" asked Sakura to Naori.
Naori smiled and nodded.
Kakashi walked toward Naori as Sakura walked out from Naori's room.
"So? What Sakura said about your condition?" asked Kakashi as he put the flower into the bouquet.
"Same as before," Naori lied to him as she looked at the flower, "it's beautiful. How do you know i love those flowers?" asked Naori tried to change the conversation.
Kakashi smiled behind his mask, "don't ask me how i know about you," Kakashi said teasingly.
Naori looked at Kakashi smiling, but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes.
"Naori.. Are you okay?" asked Kakashi.
Naori looked at Kakashi and smiled as she nodded.
"Senpai... You don't have to come here everyday. You have your duty as the Hokage, don't you?" stated Naori softly.
"It's okay.. I already took care of that. Don't worry, okay?" Kakashi said as he sat on the chair next to Naori's bed. He stared at Naori's eyes deeply, "i really love your eyes. It's drawing me into you."
Naori looked away from Kakashi trying to hide her feeling.
"Don't... Don't look away from me.. Please.." begged Kakashi.
Naori closed her eyes, she tried her best to hold back her tears.
"Senpai.. Can you leave me alone? Please.." begged Naori softly.
Kakashi stood up, "i'm sorry, Naori." He walked away from her room.
Naori couldn't hold back her tears as Kakashi closed the door.
"I'm sorry, senpai.. I love you..but, i can't.. I don't deserve you."

It has been a week Naori was released from the hospital. She went to her apartment and packed her belongings. She put her picture with Shisui into her bag along with her picture with her teammates. After she finished packed her bag, she went to Hokage office. She took a deep breath and knocked the door.
"Come in," Kakashi stated from inside.
Naori walked in, "Hokage sama.."
Kakashi looked up from his paper, "Naori.. You release today?" asked Kakashi.
Naori nodded and smiled, "actually.. I want to ask a favor."
Kakashi nodded, "sure. Tell me."
Naori looked at Kakashi, "i.. I desire to go to iron nation."
"Sure. But, why?" asked Kakashi.
"I.. I want to learn more to be a samurai. Mifune sama said he will accept me to learn there," stated Naori softly.
"How long will you go?" asked Kakashi.
Naori was silence.
"Naori?" asked Kakashi.
"Maybe for long, Hokage sama," answered Naori sadly.
Kakashi's eyes widened, "what do you mean?"
"I don't know when i will return, Hokage sama," answered Naori.
Kakashi stared at Naori, "Naori.. Is this what you really want?"
Naori closed her eyes and nodded sadly.
Kakashi looked down, "if this what you really want, it's okay. But, that means you are no longer a konoha shinobi."
Naori nodded sadly and untied her hitaiate. She walked toward Kakashi desk then she put her hitaiate on it.
Naori bowed her head down then she walked out of his office.
Kakashi stared at Naori's back, 'please.. Turn around. Please...' begged Kakashi in his mind.
Naori hold the door handle, 'no, Naori. Don't look at him. It will be more difficult for you if you did that,' said Naori to herself. She took a deep breath and opened the door. She walked out of the room and closed the door.
Kakashi stared at the door wishing Naori will come in, 'no, Kakashi... She leave you,' he said to himself.
