i blushed. "hey jack," i said stretching the hey. "i feel really awkward right now," sophia said rolling her eyes. "OMG HI WIFE I MISSED YOU!" i said jumping on to sophia's waist and hugging her. "uh, elle, you saw her yesterday. not even a whole day ago," finn said with sass. "i honestly don't really care soooo," i replied quickly and grabbed a banana from the fruit bowl sitting at their island. "elle, we should get to know each other more, 20 questions?" sophia asked, jack giving a agreeing nod. "okay," i replied sitting in between finn and sophia. "okay number one; favorite color?" jack asked. "uhmmm, yellow!" i said. the door bell rang and finn got up to greet wyatt and jaeden. "2, favorite animal?" "i'm probably going to sound like really boring when i say this, but definitely dogs. but i love all animals," i said with a smile. "me too!" jack said and we high-fived. an hour later "19, ever dated?" at this point it was just me and jack playing. sophia went to hang out with the rest of the boys. something about fortnite? "yeah, for a couple months. but ee ended things really badly," i replied remembering what happened. flashback: i was dating this guy named ashton. it was our 4 month anniversary, so we decided to go to the fair. his dad picked us up, and drove us. "hey elle, i'm going to get some food, want a lemonade or something?" ashton asked me. "yeah a lemonade sounds great!" i said with a smile. "okay let's meet at the Ferris wheel," he said walking away. after 20 minutes i was sitting there waiting for him at the Ferris wheel. "where the fuck," i said walking away. i walked over to the food court when i saw him. fully making out with another girl. "what the fuck, ashton?" i yelled. "elle, don't scream!" he whisper yelled at me. "fuck you, were over," i said walking away. "wait, stop elle!" he yelled back and I just flipped him off and got hannah to drive me home. end of flashback jack she seemed deep in thought. elle was staring at a pot with some plants in it. "uhm elle? are you okay?" i asked as she shook her head and gave me a quick smile. "yeah, yeah fine," she said. she looked down and rubbed her forehead. i moves from my seat across from her and sat next to her. "what's wrong?" i asked rubbing her back, "n-nothing," she looked away from me. "elle," i said as she looked back. her eyes were glossy. "it's just how things ended with my ex boyfriend. we ended on bad terms," sh said and i hugged her. she laughed. she quickly wiped her eyes. "okay okay, 20, do you like anyone?" i asked calmly, trying to not to obvious. "maybeeee," she said smiling. she had a dimple and it made me smile instantly. "who is it?" i asked. she rolled her eyes. "that's 21 genius, we're playing 20 questions," she said. "whatever, let's go hang out with everyone else," i said and we walked over to the group. "oh hey elle, and jack," sophia said. "hey," elle said blushing. "we wanna go swimming, you wanna come?" she said nodding towards the sliding glass door in the kitchen. "yeah i'm down," i said without hesitation. "i didn't bring a swim suit," elle said blushing. "it's fine elle, i have some extras," sophia said. she grabbed elle's hand and took her upstairs. 'help me' elle mouthed and we all laughed. i went to the downstairs bathroom, and changed. later i met up with jake(sophia's twin brothers for all of you who don't know) wyatt finn and jaeden. when i went inside to look for something to drink, I saw elle coming down in a swimsuit, followed by sophia. she looked hottttt- wait. i really can't like her. omg she's like finn's little sister gross. and elle i mean ellie. i like ellie. a lot. "hey jack," she said blushing. the swim suit fit her perfectly. "hey can you take a pic of me on the beach?" she asked i nodded. the beach was right outside of Sophia's backyard. we walked a couple of minutes in a comfortable silence. when we got her she handed me her phone. the ocean was a pretty teal color. it was so clear you could see the fish swimming through it. "okay ready?" she said, getting into 'position'. "you know it," i said and instantly regretted it. "i just cringed so hard i can't," she said laughing. I laughed with her, then we took the pictures. after we met up with everyone else and went swimming. elle got out early and went on her phone.
