Alex's POV
Jack and I decided that we would go get something to eat for breakfast so we called a uber and waited for it to arrive. When we got the restaurant it wasn't that busy, it was a diner called Lil's Diner we got out of the Uber and walked into the diner we looked around and there a lot of choices where to sit. We chose to sit at a booth near the window, I sat down and jack sat across from me, a minute later a waitress came over it was Kylie from school
"Hey Kylie I didn't know you worked here?" Jack said
"Yea I just started" she answered
"Well that's cool" I said "Anyways umm I would like a chocolate milk and some pancakes please" I said
"I'll have the same, thanks" Jack said
"Okay, I'll see you soon with your order" Kylie said as grabbing our menus and walking away.
"I was thinking, remember yesterday when Becky was acting weird?" Jack said
"Yea I have no clue what happened" I answered
"Well I was thinking we would talk to her mom, maybe she knows something we don't" he said
"Yea well go visit her after our breakfast" I said as taking out my phone and opening snapchat, it was my time of the day to send my "streaks"
"Say cheese Jack! Your gonna be my streaks"
I took a pic of him and added the caption
"Good morning diner streaks"
I sent the pic, and we waiting for our food to arrive.
"Hey guys I have your food, here you go" Kylie said as putting the food down in front of us
"Thanks Kylie" I said "No problem guys if you need anything just holler my name" She smiled and walked away.
"Oof this is delicious!" Jack said as taking a bite.
After we finished we decided to walk to Becky's after all she was just a couple of blocks away.
Half way walking to Becky's Jack said
"What if Becky's has something to do with Adam missing?" "I don't know, I don't even wanna think like that" I said.
"Well here we are" I said as we started walking down her walkway. Jack rang the doorbell.
Becky's mom answered the door
"Hey guys Becky's not here" she said
"Well that's okay we're actually here for you Jack said.
"Well than okay come in" she said
We walked and took off our shoes "can I offer you guys something to drink" she said
"No thanks I'm good" I said as sitting down on the couch. "I'm good" Jack said as sitting beside me
"Well then what do you two boys need?" She said
"Well were actually here to talk about Becky"
