Chapter 6

The next morning I sat with Yamato watching as Naruto tried out his new jutsu when I felt it. I jumped up immediately startling everyone a bit because I had been completely still for so long

"I have to go, they need help. Naruto when you are finished with your jutsu and need a lift to the battle throw my kunai!" I all but yelled throwing my kunai into the ground at his feet then teleporting to where my kunai was thrown. I appeared next Shikamaru and behind Kakashi, Ino and Choji. Before I could even ask what was going on..

"Fire style: Searing migraine!" I heard from in front of us.

"No" I whispered and my body acted quickly without my thought. A barrier bubble surrounded everyone just as the fire washed over us. Kakashi quickly turned around because he recognized my barrier. He looked like he had taken more than a few hits, his vest was gone and so was his headband. His shirt was ripped and his hands were both burned.

"Why are you here?" He asked and I rolled my eyes

"I believe this makes us even for who saved who" I said giving him a close eyed smile

"I'm here to help and it looks like you could use it" I said and looked around. The dust cleared and two men were standing there, one I recognized as Hidan because I read about from the last mission. The other man however looked familiar too. The chakra barrier was still up so we were fine to talk for a moment as I looked at the other man.

"What's the name of the other guy, not Hidan?" I asked Shikamaru

"Kakuzu" He said and my eyes widened slightly

"Why?" Ino asked quickly

"I've read about him.." I said closing my eyes and searching through all the things I had read about possible opponents

"Kakuzu, from the Hidden Waterfall village...He tried to kill the First Hokage but failed and soon after, he fled his village and killed the elders. They were found with their hearts ripped out of there bodies while they were still alive" I said opening my eyes and looking at him.

"This bitch knows her stuff huh Kakuzu" The other one said and my eyes snapped to him

"...I believe you have called me a bitch before" I said smiling at his confused expression. In the blink of an eye my barrier was down and I was behind Hidan. I kicked him hard sending him into a tree and Kakuzu glared at me and got into a fighting stance

"Sayuri!" Kakashi half scolded and I sighed teleporting back to him

"Shikamaru explain the plan to Sayuri, I will distract the one with the scythe..Choji, Ino distract the other one until Shikamaru is done" Kakashi said hurriedly as Hidan launched himself at me but Kakashi got in the way with a kunai in hand. let out a rather feminine screech as they started attacking each other racing around up and down trees. When Shikamaru had finished explaining his plan to use Kakazu's blood for Hidan's ritual I nodded

"You go help Kakashi sensei, we can handle this one right now." He added and I ran to the base of the tree Kakashi was running down. The black monster that shot fire at us started shooting fireballs at Kakashi's back while Hidan chased him down. I made two walls of chakra and moved them around blocking all the fireballs from hitting him. I made a motion for him to come down to me, he nodded and kept running towards me. I threw a kunai to where Hidan was but he easily dodged it and it stuck in the tree as he raced down after Kakashi. As Kakashi ran past me I grabbed his hand and teleported him to the kunai I had thrown higher up in the tree so he was behind Hidan now who was plummeting towards me smiling like a maniac. Kakashi charged up his Chidori and dropped down landing on Hidan's back and shoving it through him.
