My lip quivered and I tried to mask my fear,but I could feel my body shaking as tears welled up in my eyes.
His- previously hazel- dark grey eyes bore into my plain blue ones. He rubbed my cheek with his hand and shivered at his touch. He smirked when he saw that I shivered.
"Who are you?" I asked in a small voice,under his gaze I felt tiny and insecure yet at the same time, protected and safe.
"Why beautiful,I'm your mate. Don't you know who I am?" He asked with hurt,anger and remorse seeping into his words.
I don't know why but my heart ached at the sight of him hurting. As much as I didn't want to,I shook my head no and I sighed heavily.
He took a sharp intake of breath and held me close as he whispered in my ear,so quiet I almost didn't hear him," Don't leave me,please?"
