Joshua and Payton finally give themselves over to their love. They have both experienced so much pain and loss in their lives that they are ready to find happiness and find it together.

Joshua battles joy and fear when Payton tells him she wants to give him a child of his own. But when the time comes and things don't go the way they wanted how will Joshua deal with this new trial.

Payton shuts down and doesn't want to talk to Joshua about their baby. She doesn't want to talk to or see anyone and she turns her back on the people who love her and want to help. They neither one can understand why this trial has happened to them and as Joshua finds Grace with the Lord, Payton blames God for what has happened to them.
