It was strange to Siri that all of her roads ended up in the same direction one way or another ,these days .  Riften and Ivarstead all were in the same general  direction and so was the tomb that would lead them to the cave .  She hoped to find answers to the Red Lyrium problem . Someone must have come to Skyrim from Thedas somehow . There was no other explanation . Not even Paarthurnax can know everything .  He wasn't that All knowing.

They were almost there . Yol's Rest was only minutes away . Siri couldn't wait to get this over and done with . She didn't know if she wanted to go into the smaller tomb . What awaited them there was a mystery .  She hoped that it wasn't as full of Draugr or something else that's dangerous .

Yol's Rest  came into view around the next bend of the road . Siri felt a reluctance  wash over her when they  headed for the smaller tomb.   She knew that she needed to shake it off . She could really not  afford to be like that right now . She sighted softly as they reached the door .

It was already late afternoon but it looked like the Inquisitor wasn't going to let them wait until morning to head inside . Siri  could understand that he wanted to get this over and done with ,but everyone was tired and needed to be fresh to ensure that no one took crazy chances while they weren't at their best .  " Can't we wait till tomorrow ?", she asked risking it . Anthony gave her one of those looks that told her that it wasn't going to happen . She sighted again and nodded showing him that she understood .   He turned away and pushed open the door .

The inside  reminded Siri of the old Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary .  She had bad memories of that place ,so looking at the interior of this place and being reminded of that place wasn't very pleasant .She closed her eyes for a moment to try and get rid of the  images that  appeared inside her mind ,of Astrid and all those who died that faithful day that they were attacked in the Sanctuary .

She was glad when they left the front part of the tomb behind . A very long corridor lead them to a large cavernous room . It was more cave like . Only parts of the walls showed that it was once a part of a tomb . Fallen pillars and walkways scattered across the room  told them that it was once a part of a city or something Siri thought of Labyrinthine that had a city inside . Bromjaar or something . The Ancient Nord's were weird in their  way of  building .

They cautiously picked a way through the fallen pillars . " Odd that the ceiling didn't cave in ,huh?", Varric says . "Yeah ,maybe this place is magical ", Bull replies . Siri rolls her eyes at that . How can they think like that ?. They were half way towards three upright stones that looked like the ones in Ustangrav to Siri.  She could just make out a gate behind it . There was something else that moved there .The strange shimmering of the something caused Siri to halt . Varric who was behind her walked straight into her causing her to stumble a little . Anthony who was in front must have sensed that things weren't going so well behind him ,so he stopped and turned around just in time to see Varric steadying Siri .

" What happened ?", he asks clearly annoyed at them .  " Siri stopped and I walked into her ", Varric says giving Siri an accusing look . " Well if you want to fight a Wisp Mother and her little Wisps  be my guess , don't drag me into it though " , she snaps .  Varric opened his mouth to say something when someone called from behind them " Siri , wait up !," Everyone turned like one man in the direction of the voice .  There was nobody except for a  large dog who carried something large in his mouth.

Siri stared at it open mouthed for a moment before darting towards it calling " Barbas , what in Shor's Bone are you doing here ?!",.  The others eyes widens at hearing her talk to the dog . Was it the dog who talked?, everyone thought .

" I came to find you ,Clavicus  found someone else to kill me so I ran away with the axe ", Barbas told Siri who now knelt by him and the axe he had dropped when she had neared him . Before Siri could say anything to the dog ,the Wisps who must have  spotted them ,attacked and their mother wasn't far behind . Barbas pushed the axe towards Siri with his nose before he ran off to attack the Wisp Mother.
Siri frowned thoughtfully as she picked up the axe . Lord Vile was not going to be happy with her or his dog . They were doomed to a lifetime of curses.
She shook her head as she charged into the fray .

" Damn ,Wisp Mother's aren't fun ", Varric says as he sits still while Siri uses a healing spell to heal his right arm . The Wisp Mother had sent Ice Spikes flying at them and one had caught Varric . " Yeah , and those little ones aren't like a walk in a park either , though they aren't that strong ", Bull says .  Siri had to suppress a smile as she wonders what they'll do if they meet Ice Wraiths .  Her eyes darted to Anthony who was being taken care of by Solas who had by now learned the healing spell Siri was using . His wound wasnt as bad as Varric's ,but he was still hurt and that worried her .  She must have stared too long because he suddenly looked up and met her gaze . Siri's heart skipped a beat . Oh those eyes ,she thinks . If she wasn't already sitting ,her legs would have given out . He was soooo cute .He gave her a nod and a smile before he looked away . A wet nose pushing against her reminded her that there was an unresolved matter that needed to be tended to .
