what's the point?

I tried writing a story and it was a disaster, I put a lot of thought and effort into writing the first chapter, but I was over thinking things and it turned out kinda weird. I deleted the story. Anyway, I just wanted to say, I give up trying to write, which sucks because I have a lot of ideas, I just go into too much detail when I write, so I'm done trying. I'm gonna go back to just reading and commenting.
