Dusk

Breaking the day,
Is a fog made of dark
It battles golden ray
Near shoreline at the bay.

Oddly, they blend, fray
Breeding hues
That dance and pray
For the light to win the bay.

The fall of day
Golden light brightened
A last attempt to keep it away
Before the fog conquered the bay.

Crying out, shadows bark
The sky evolved with blues,
The night enlightened
With a serenity, no day
Could ever give, down at the bay.
