Moira's Hoenn Journey || Pokemon Advanced [BOOK ONE]

002>Odale Ruins, and Encounter with Team Magma!

Ash, May, and Moira were walking down the trail towards Oldale Town, where Ash and Moira would be registering for the Hoenn League. Ash was under the impression that May wanted to compete in the Hoenn League, and Moira thought it she would let Ash find out for himself. Zorua was riding on her shoulder, looking around the forest.

May's started to lag behind, her body bent over, and her breathing was short and heavy. "You tired May?" Moira asked teasingly. She grumbled something in return, and let out a sigh of exhaustion.

"Pikachu, since Oldale Town is so close, you wanna race the rest of the way?" Ash questioned the Electric-Type  Mouse Pokémon. "What about you Zorua? You up for a race as well?" Zorua grinned, "Rarf!"

"Hey! Hold up a minute!" May yelled out to them. "You're walking too slow," Ash responded looking back at her. "If I knew you were gonna run the whole way, I wouldn't have offered my help," she said waving her arms in the air.

"What are you talking about? I just wanna get there before it gets too dark," Ash states with a small frown. "Ash makes a great point May. If we don't make it to the Pokémon Center, we'll have to sleep out here," Moira added.

"I did have a bike. . ." she responded looking over to the side with a grumpy face. Ash and Pikachu boy sweat dropped and Moira shook her head disbelievingly. She couldn't fathom how her sister was still on about this. "You know I guess there's no harm if we slow down for just a bit. . ." Ash responded feeling guilty.

Moira let out a small sigh, and followed them shaking her head. May then questioned Ash about why his Pikachu was outside it's pokeball and on his shoulder instead. "All Pokémon a different May. Like Zorua here, he doesn't like being inside his pokeball," Moira informed her sister. "Right, Pikachu doesn't like being inside his pokeball when it's much more fun riding on my shoulder," Ash agreed.

"Come to think of it, I don't know anything about my new Torchic. . ." May said looking down at the pokeball that contained the Fire-Type starter. "Then you should look it up in that new Pokedex you got," Ash responded with a smile.

"Oh yeah!" May said before taking out her red and white Pokedex. Moira looked down at Zorua before taking out her blue and white Pokedex. She pointed it towards the little fox and watched as it flipped open.

[ Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon. Zorua hides its true form by changing its shape into people and Pokémon, and loves to surprise people.

Zorua knows the following moves: Protect, Scratch, Hidden Power, Double Team, Swords Dance, Facade, Detect, Extrasensory, Agility, Calm Mind, Foul Play, Dark Pulse, Night Daze, Sucker Punch, Aerial Ace, Shadow Ball, Dig, and Incinerate

"That's a great move set. . . And it knows more moves than normal. I wonder how. . ." Moira said. She looked up to see May reading what the Pokedex was saying about Torchic. Suddenly Ash spoke up, "Hey. . .look at that. . ." May looked up, "What?" she questioned looking to see a round, blue mouse Pokémon. It has circular ears with pink insides. There are two white dots on its cheeks, and it has black eyes. Its thin, black, zigzagging tail has a large blue ball at the end.
