SHE'S A DEAD GIRL WALKING- "EDGE OF SEVENTEEN" ACTRESS STELLA GREY LINCOLN SIGNS ON TO "HEATHERS LIVE!"

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE!
Twenty five year old actress Stella Grey Lincoln is the latest to be confirmed for Heathers Live!, the live adaptation of the beloved musical and movie. It is set to air live on ABC at the end of 2018.

This won't be Lincoln's first time dabbling in musical theater- the star had admitted to participating in community theater productions of "Legally Blonde," "Grease," and "Hairspray" in interviews before- she claims she was a geeky theater kid in middle and high school!

Lincoln joins musician D.J. Carper, along with actors Matteo Gomes and Astrid Maunder in the production, as well as newcomers Jack Lawrence and Spencer Rossi.

Lincoln, known for her breakout role in 2012's "Stuck in Love," confirmed the news on twitter, writing "I am extremely thrilled to announce I'll be joining the cast of Heathers Live! Thanks to everyone who made this possible #letsgogetaslushie "

Lincoln will be taking on the role of Veronica Sawyer, the story's heroine. Rumors have been circulating about who'll star opposite beside her as Jason "J.D." Dean, everyone's favorite damaged anti-hero. Zac Efron and Ross Butler have been in the talks for the role, as well as "Stranger Things" "mom/babysitter" Joe Keery. While we can't confirm anything right now, stay tuned for updates on the rest of the cast! Fingers crossed for our favorite "parent" to make it onto our TV screens!
