Chapter 14: Escape

I slowly opened my eyes.

I was back in the hospital?

My heart started to pound harshly.

I took the mask off my face, opening the door.

"Jennie? What are you doing up so early?"

"I need some fresh air?"

"Okay, I'll go with you..."

"Ani? I don't need you to?"

"I have to." The nurse smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes, exiting the hospital entrance.

I sat on the bench, where flower pots were.

"Are you okay Jennie?" 

"I'm okay?" I sighed, trying to grab the pot.

I suddenly smashed the pot onto her head, making her collapsed onto the ground.

I ran away as quickly as I can away from whatever I just did.

I ran across the streets, cars honking at me.

I then ran into the SM building.

"Jennie? You're back?" Sehun's eyes widen.

Tears formed in my eyes.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm not..."

"What happened?"

"I smashed a flower pot onto the nurses head and now Taehyung is acting differently."

"Who's Taehyung?" He raised a brow.

"Look at what he did to me?" I showed Sehun the scars Taehyung had given me.

"Jennie, are you okay? I think you should still be in the hospital?"

I shook my head frequently.

"I can't? Something's in the hospital... It's watching me."

"You'll be okay?"

"I hope so, Sehun."

"Jennie!" Lisa squealed, pulling me away from Sehun.

"W-Why are you crying?"

I wiped my tears away.

"It's nothing, guys?" I hiccuped.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure?"

Lisa, Rose and Jisoo gave me a hug.

"I can't believe your back, we missed you so much..."

"I missed you guys too."

"So how was the tour?"

"It was great, but wasn't that fun? You weren't there."

I sighed.

"Wait, why are you still wearing the hospital gown?"

"I ran from the hospital..." 

"What? Why! You know you needed oxygen, Jennie?"

"I'm fine guys, stop worrying about me. I promise, I just miss dancing."

"Well were glad you're okay?"

"I know, but I need some water."

I headed into the big room, grabbing a glass of water.

The room was silent, until a glass slid off the table.

My eyes widen.

I slowly set my glass of water onto the table.

I ran towards the door, but wouldn't budge.

"Jisoo! Rose! Lisa!" I screamed banging onto the door.

"What!?"

"Open the door! The door is stuck!"

"We can't! What did you do?!"

"I did nothing? Just let me out!" I cried.

"We can't! It's stuck!"

The lights then started to flicker, getting me more afraid.

"Help me! Someone's in the room with me!"

"Who!"

"I don't fucking know! It's a woman in black."

My cries grew louder, until the door was finally pushed open.

I was carried out of the room and to where everyone were.

"Jennie? I don't think you're okay? There's no one in the room with you."

"There was someone in the room with me..."

I wiped my tears, crying into Sehun's chest.

"Jennie? I think you're mental?" Jisoo sighed.

"Doesn't matter, I know I'm not mental."

"Let's take you back to the hospital, Jennie? I'm worried about you? You're acting different lately."

"No! I told you I'm not going back?"

I slowly got up, pushing Sehun away from me.

"Jennie! Where are you going!"

"Away from here."

"What do you mean?" 

"I'm not living with my friends anymore, since they think I'm mental."

"Jennie, you're not mental!"

"I am so, since Jisoo said it! They don't want to live with a mental person like me, so I'm leaving."

"Jennie, just stop!"

"Stop what!" I turned around frequently, looking into Sehun's eyes.

"If you love me enough, stay with me."

I rolled my eyes.

"You're friends wouldn't want me either."

Sehun grabbed my hands, pulling me into a hug.

"I love you Jennie, don't do this to yourself. Who cares about what others think about you, It's better for you to just let it go... I hate seeing you like this."

"I-I love you too Sehun..."
