*Keith is returning to the team in s6 (I'm positive about this now HJSJS, means that K/L development will start up again where it left off)

*Right now Lance and Keith are both having their separate arcs to help strengthen their characters and overcome their insecurities (Lance's being his self confidence issues, Keith's being his trust issues and fear of rejection)

*Lance and Keith's biggest insecurities were both reflected in each other (Keith being rejected when Lance denied their bonding moment, Lance coming to Keith after being unsure about his place on the team) - their storylines are tied together, shown in ep "Red Paladin" when they both let how they view themselves affect how they perform on the team and now they are both in separate arcs to trying to overcome that/mature

*Jeremy emphasizing that Lance is trying to become his own man apart from Keith (ties with Lauren saying that the characters need to stand on their own without romance, how the characters react to each other changes as the character grows)

*They want romance to develop naturally within the storyline and that relationships are SLOW BURN

*Keith and Lance directly parallel Lotor/Allura and Hunk/Shay, two romantically coded pairs, so they are romantically coded fight me on this

*Lance needs someone who's self assured: L & J emphasized that Keith coming across his mother will fill his void and bring him inner peace

*Lance's end game will bring him in a different place than where he first started in the series/will be someone he needs instead of wants: In an interview it was emphasized he is starting to view Allura as more of a teammate/friend rather than a crush, moving on from her (ties to how he mentioned "Sometimes what we want, isn't always what we get"). Lance started his maturity arc in s3 as he helped Keith through his rough times. He moved into Keith's lion after it accepted him bcuz of this change and was somewhat reassured by him about his position on the team (now in s5 we see he's definitely in a different place and taking on a larger leadership role on the team)

*Lance knows something is up w/ Shiro and will most likely bring his concerns to Keith who he's consulted in before/is closest to Shiro. If it's possible that they are going to save him from the Astral Plane together, it would explain the blue/red stars there that is blatant foreshadowing/ties with them saving him in s1. If this mission plays out, will bring them closer together as a team and as friends (Jeremy saying they will become better friends in the future)

*Lauren mentioned in a recent interview that there were things about Lance he wasn't always comfortable showing but is starting to realize isn't bad (ties in with a possible sexuality arc and him being bi. He holds the LGBTQ sign along with Shiro, so he will be involved and is most likely LGBTQ as well. Bi flag colour symbolism around him and a few of his scenes w/ Keith, how Allura parallels Keith, similar expressions towards Keith he's made when flirting/talking about his crush on Allura, Jeremy implying he attracts a lot of ppl not just women, him emphasizing that there are plenty of fish in the sea etc)

*Jeremy emphasizing multiple times that there will be LGBTQ rep in the show somewhat, so Lance has a very good possibility to be apart of that, Keith's galra reveal arc paralleling what it's like for some ppl when they come out/how he interacted w/ Rolo parallels how Lance has flirted with girls

*There being a possible end game between two LGBTQ characters (Lance is going to have an end game, leads back to the points I made at the top)

*So Klance being cannon king? More likely than you think
