— all of the comments on the new photo me and johnny posted were all, 'omg jenzie' or 'i'm-' or them just guessing what we were up to. i liked all the comments that said we were writing a song together before switching off my phone and heading downstairs.
"good morning kenz, how nice of you to suddenly show up." maddie said, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.
i hugged her and walked to the fridge getting some toast and an avocado.
"feeling healthy today i see?"
"what can i say? gotta get that beach bod." i took a bite of the toast and tapped maddie on the head, going back to my room to do schoolwork.
can i just say, i hate school so much. it's ok when i do schoolwork with my friends but when it's just by myself, in my room, with my computer, that also has netflix- it's a struggle to stop myself from just watching a new episode of tvd or dynasty.
my phone went off and i jumped for it, seeing a text from lauren.

my mom drove me and maddie to lauren's house because maddie insisted to come, and when i knocked on the door i was attacked by ruby, nadia and lauren.
"KENZIE!" they all screamed in union before rushing to hug maddie and ushering us both inside.
We immediately went to the living room and took our allocated seats. I was with Lauren and then Ruby, Nadia and Maddie were on the chair opposite us, and Johnny playing with the dogs on the floor. I wasn't really listening while they were all catching up with each other, talking about what they're excited about and all the experiences they've had ever since the last time we met up.
Halfway through the conversation I got up to go to the bathroom because I wasn't processing anything they were saying, I just couldn't concentrate. My mind was everywhere, but nowhere at once and I hated it. Splashing water on my face, I tried to concentrate on old memories. But that lead to me thinking about him, and our... past experiences.
"Get over yourself Kenzie." I muttered under my breath, sighing and drying off my face. "You meant nothing to him anyways."
"KENZIE COME SEE HOW MANY MALTESERS RUBY CAN FIT IN HER MOUTH!"
"DONT RUSH ME WOMAN IM COMING!" After taking one more quick look at myself in the mirror and fixing my face I put a fake smile on before walking out.

hey guys! just wanted to apologise for the fact that i COMPLETELY forgot about my whole wattpad account in general but reading over all of my stories reminded me of how much i loved writing! so after almost a year definitely expect more updates on this book. sorry this chapter was a bit short and on and off with the caps but the rest of the book will probably all be lower caps depending on where i write it! okay that's all from me now!
