chapter 49- i want to help

*kaitlin's POV 

i woke up at 6:00 and headed into the bathroom 

i brushed my hair and then got changed

i put my hair up into a messy bun and headed down the stairs i messaged Emily and ellie were still coming to dance and that ethan was still meeting me 

i grabbed myself a piece of toast

jake: hey

Kaitlin: hey whats up

jake: nothing much im just going to post that video of all the people ive spoke to to do with the whole school shooting thing 

Kaitlin: is there anything i can help with 

jake: just tell everyone where to donate schools are supposed to be safe

Kaitlin: would you mind if i made a youtube video 

jake: no of course not

Kaitlin: well ill make one later

jake: oh yeah you have dance ill send you all the links 

Kaitlin: ok thanks 

jake: no problem do you want me to drop you of at starbucks 

Kaitlin: yeah sure

jake: ok well what time you meeting ethan

Kaitlin: for 9:00

jake: ok we'll leave in an hour

Kaitlin: ok ill film the video now actually i have an hour if i dont finish then ill finish later 

jake: ok 

i headed upstairs whilst jake sent me all the links via messages 

i set up my cameras and made my bed i then turned my camera on 

Kaitlin: hi guys and welcome back to my channel i hope your having a wonderful day as some of you have proberly seen jake is back here in L.A we made a video yesterday if you haven't seen that already go check it out anyway i wanted to create a video supporting jake and what hes doing i want to help with schools being more safe some of my friends still go to a school and the thought of a school shooting happening there seems impossible but thats what every kid thinks thats what i think and surely some of you think it to i know I'm usually making positive videos me starting youtube was nerve racking i didn't know about the hate but thats easy to get rid of a click of a few buttons and then that person is blocked and you never have to hear from them again but imagine if there wasn't hate at all and everyone was safe and never got affected you might understand what I'm saying you might not what I'm saying is what if schools could be super safe aswell and you never have to worry about anything like that theres loads of links in the description for you all to chip in and help jake has uploaded a video showing his experience with this whole thing and it not only changed him but his perspective like ive already said you would never think this would happen to you at your school i was in school but obviously i couldn't stay there and walking into the canteen was easy just through a door no security no check point but know one would think that there should be something there I'm done rambling check out all the links in the description help out like subscribe turn on my notification bell to know when i upload thanks for watching and ill see you again soon
