Rose[At Calvin's]

Calvin picks up a glass tapping a spoon against it getting people's attention and mines also

I turn my head to him and he stopped tapping the glass
"Welcome models and designers"he began his speech looking around at all the well-dressed people in the room

As he said what he said my mind kept drifting away to Grayson..I wanted him to be with me and it sucks he couldn't come so,now I was going to be lonely unless someone would take the time to talk to me

I miss Grayson

Calvin finally finished his speech making me jump in excitement in my head
Thank God

I was never a fan of people giving speeches.It always bored me unless I was enjoying it.

Everyone scattered and begin to mingle with one another while I was in my own world until I was tapped on the shoulder making me snap out of it and turn around

"Joseph"I say a little surprised to see him of all people here

"I knew that was you"he said with a slight smile planted on his face and I return a smile

"What are you doing here?"I questioned

"Mrs.Boyd ask me to stop by and snap pictures say cheese"He raised the camera up to his face and took a picture of me off-guard

I wasn't even ready

"Oh and another thing.. I wanted to apologize for ya know coming by your place."He scratched the back of his neck looking at me for forgiveness.

"It's alright you didn't know" I say trying to reassure him that he did nothing wrong

"Well I was ho-"he gets cut off by the sound of my phone ringing.I go in my purse pulling it out reading the caller ID

"Sorry I have to take this"I told Joseph and walked away to the outside balcony where it would be more quiet

"Hey Grayson"

"Hey Rose How are you?"

"I'm fine but I miss you"

"I miss you more"

"What are you doing"

"The guys decided to stop by and we're just hanging out and drinking right now"

"You're at a bar?"

"No I'm at home"

"Well don't get too drunk when I come back"

"I won't...Love you"

"Love you too"I end the call and put my phone back in my purse

"Was that your boyfriend?"Joseph said scaring me making me jump a little from the sound of his voice

"Y-yea it was"I stuttered and he came walking towards me

"Is everything alright"

"Yea he just called to check on me"I say nodding with every word feeling a bit uncomfortable as he came towards me even closer.

"That's sweet"

"Yea it is"I say giving a sideeye moving a bit

"What?you're acting like I'm gonna touch you or something"He said looking at me crazy

"I'm sorry"I shake my head looking down at my feet

I probably look stupid now

"It's cool"
