Struggling Love

I'm starting to move in to Matt's apartment today I'm very excited I'm waiting on him to pick me up from my place. I'm moving out of my apartment because at the end of this month my 4 year contract thing to live here is up. I could pay for another couple years but Matt wanted me to live with him.

Don't get me wrong this is a very very nice apartment and I've enjoyed living in it, but Matt said it's probably time for us to move in together.

I remember when Matt and I first met I was paying rent on my apartment for the first year and he was getting an apartment he lived about 15 or 20 minuets away from me, because we didn't really live in an apartment complex they was all like small homes sorta and the was a lot of them. I was paying a guy my rent and I looked over and there Matt was I remember he looked like he worked out a lot he was wearing Nike shoes blue jean and a tap out shirt. I remember one of the first things I noticed about him was he bright smile, but anyways one of the workers there was explaining to him the rules and crap about the apartment while I was paying. After I got done paying I was getting ready to walk out when someone called my name

"Kelsey?"

I quickly turned back, it was the girl helping Matt she knows me pretty well since I'd been living here a year her name is Macy I think she's like 29 30 maybe I don't know something like that. Of course I turned and asked her what she needed.

"This is Matt he's moving in to one of our apartments down the street"

Matt waves and smiled at me he looked kinda shy which I thought was very cute.

"Maybe if your not busy you could show him around his new apartment and tell him some rules and stuff"

Of course me being a nice person I agreed and told Macy I had plenty of time. She turned and grabbed his key.

"Wonderful! Kelsey he's in apartment 117 right down the street you know, just meet him over there and show him how everything works"

I held the door for Matt as we made our way out. He looked up at me and thanked me for holding the door I told him it was no problem as I smiled. I got in my car and drove to apartment 117 as Matt followed me in his car. Me and Matt parked beside EachOther in the dive way, I got out if my car and began to make a conversation with Matt so things wasn't awkward.

"This is your new apartment I guess this is one of the newer ones, do you have the key?"

He looked at me while reaching in his pocket and said

"Oh, sorry"

He smiled and walked up and unlocked the door

"Lady's first"

He said as he opened the door I replied with a simple thank you and a smile. We walked in to the apartment I walked him around and told him all the stupid rules of the apartment and how paying rent goes and the animal fee if he did have any animals and as I was getting to leave the apartment something just told me I didn't need to go that I needed to get to know Matt better. Me being my stupid self I turned quickly and said to Matt

"I should give you my number incase you ever need any help or anything"

That's what I was saying but on the inside I was hoping he'd want more than help from me. He looked with a sort of confused look and said

"You wanna give me your number?"

I giggled and said

"Sure why not? I wouldn't mind helping you any time or just getting to know you better"

He smiled and said

"Oh, ok that's very nice of you."

I smiled as he pulled out his phone to add me to his contacts and asked me my number obviously I gave it to him with no problem. He stopes me as I was going out of the door and said

"Maybe we could get coffee some time?"

The he said in a low confused voice

"You know, if your um, boyfriend doesn't mind"

I smiled and looked up at him saying

"Oh, I don't really have a boyfriend or anything I've been single for about two years now."

He looked at my with sympathy and said

"Oh, I'm sorry what happened with the last one?"

I smiled and told him

"Well I'd love to tell you tomorrow over coffee!"

And that was the beginning of our first date!

Well guys I can't write anymore relight now Matt is here to pick me up!
