It wasn't the amazing dress or the lights.
It wasn't the flowers or the sky.
It wasn't anything around them that made the day perfect-
It was the fact that they were together.
That they would be until the end of time.
Whispers were scarce in the crowd, whose eyes were all fixed on the woman drifting down the aisle in complete joy. Her footsteps never lingered until she was standing next to the one she was destined for.
A waiter swiveled the cake tray out of the way and she watched it leave, mouth almost watering.
Then she walked the rest of the way down the aisle, towards the man she loved.
The wedding proceeded.
"And for your vows?"
Marinette stifled a giggle at the giddy grin on her soon-to-be-husband's face.
"I'll be singing a song," she announced, pausing to glance at Adrien's almost-shocked expression.
The music started.
Alya stood, handing her best friend a microphone.
"Heart beats fast.
Colors and promises-
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall,
But watching you stand alone-
All of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow." The breath hitched in her throat, raw emotion catching up to her.
"One step closer."
She trained her eyes on her partner. The one who always gave her the encouragement she needed.

I'll love you for a thousand more."
She smiled.
"Time stands still.
