I rescued scientists and cleared out the place, but the Lost Legion is still going strong, Zarpedon still has control over Helios' defenses, even though we shut the jamming signal on Elpis, one of the scientists named Gladstone says that Zarpedon might have a weaker signal on her person, he also mentions that she could also have another spy on Helios like the Meriff, after saying that Jack went ballistic, "Wait, so there's another traitor on Helios!?" Jack asks, he immediately gets off his communications, that can't be good, he's getting crazier by the second, he literally killed Felicity who was the ai helping us create our robot army, he's being more brutal and he's even getting snappy with me when I get too slow for him or if I question him, after returning to Jack's Office and he greeted me with a big smile, Roland and Lilith were there too, after having a little chat, Jack reveals a window to a room filled with some of the scientists I saved, they were trapped in a room, "New plan everybody! Doctor Gladstone here informed me that one of you might still be a traitor working for Zarpedon!" Jack explains, "Might! I said MIGHT!" Gladstone says, "Hundreds of lives are on the line here, I just can't take the risk, for what it's worth, I'm really sorry" Jack explains, "Jack, DON'T" Gladstone yells, soon the airlock to the room opens and the scientists suffocate slowly before they get sucked into the vacuum of space, I am horrified, "Oh my god!" Lilith says, WHAT THE FUCK!! Jack's gone crazy, "Huh, that felt... kinda good, any who, let's talk" Jack says, the path to the eye of Helios is open and he tells me to go there while Roland and Lilith protect Jack's office, after heading towards the laser, Moxxi calls me, "So.. Tim, I heard what happened" she says, "He murdered the scientists!" I explain, "God, he really has lost it!" Moxxi says, while heading towards the laser core, we encounter Zarpedon and once I beat the crap out of her, Jack stops me and he walks towards her as she backs up slowly, turns out the vault we're looking for is hidden beneath a tangle of chemicals, Zarpedon says that the power within the vault will trigger a chain of events but before Zarpedon could finish, Jack brutally shoots her in the head, he walks away coldly as he motions me to come with him, turns out the eye of Helios is an actual eye, it came out of the vault and Jack attached it to his laser to increase its power tenfold, yep, Jack is crazy, he's gone mad with power, we manage to shut down the laser by injecting too much slag slag into it causing it to shut down, Moxxi helped us out, after getting to the command station, Moxxi calls me, "Get ready to hang onto something, just go along with whatever Jack says" she says, "Huh?" I ask, after rebooting the laser, there is an invalid energy configuration, I do what Moxxi says and I quickly hold onto something, Roland calls and says "Jack.. I'm sorry", "I'm not!" Lilith says, suddenly the whole laser starts going crazy, it was about to explode, "There's something wrong about Jack, behind that hero complex there's a sick, twisted lunatic, if you come down to Helios alive, a lot of decent people will regret it!" Moxxi says, the laser explodes, "NOO!" Jack screams, I'm glad they did that to be honest, Jack was getting power hungry, "That was one of a kind! Things I could have done! Those GOD DAMN TRAITORS!!" Jack screams, he starts ripping out computers from the remaining control stations and start throwing it at the windows, I just stand there as Jack slowly becomes more insane, "In time, they will all fall!" Jack says, Jack sends me back out the search for the vault, "I'm sorry sugar" Moxxi says, "Jack is losing it" I say, "I know, just keep it cool, he'll never see you double cross him, then he'll be all by himself" Moxxi says, I'd be glad to do this if Jack doesn't end up killing me before I could anything
