Returning the favor (filler)

Knock knock knock~

Currently, Hanako was standing in front of Kakashi's apartment door. Hanako raised her hand once again to knock on the door but decided to just welcome herself since it was like her home. She swung the door open...

"Erota...ke...san...?" She stopped and sniffed the air only to smell a delicious aroma. She raised an eyebrow and wondered who was cooking such delightful meal. She can tell it sure wasn't Kakashi. She widen her eyes at the sudden realisation that Kakashi might have invited a woman.

She has to protect the innocent woman!

She quickly rushed inside and peeped from behind a wall as she stared at the scene before her. Her jaws dropped as she could hardly believe what was happening. Kakashi was...cooking?!

"Y-You..." Hanako couldn't find the words to speak up. Her brain has stopped working.

Kakashi slowly turn around and gave Hanako a closed eye smile. "Yo Hanako." He then returned back to cooking.

Hanako shook her head and stomped her way towards Kakashi and took a look at what he was cooking and sure enough, it was some rich and elegant meal.

Hanako glared at him. "You lied." She said as she crossed her arms.

Kakashi just smiled at her.

Hanako was getting irritated with the lack of response. "You---!" Hanako could taste something inside her mouth and so she look at Kakashi. It seems he has fed her a spoonful of what he cooked. He slowly took out the spoon and waited for her reaction.

Hanako slowly chewed on the food and her eyes turned to stars. She swallowed it and let out a squeal. "It's delicious!" She clapped her hands while smiling brightly.

Kakashi could feel his cheeks slowly warm up as he smiled at her. "Thank you." He return back to finish cooking up the rest. "If you don't mind then can you set up the table for two?" Kakashi asked as he stirred the food.

Hanako tilt her head to the side. "Is someone coming?" She asked and suddenly her first conclusion came back to her. A woman! "I'll protect her!" She exclaimed loudly.

Kakashi turned off the stove and look at Hanako. "Protect who?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow.

Hanako looked to the side and scratched her cheek awkwardly. "The woman you invited." She answered in a low voice.

"I didn't invite a woman."

"Then the table for two?"

"Me and you."

Hanako felt her cheeks warm up as she covered half of her face with her sleeve. "W-What?" She stuttered nervously.

Kakashi pat her head gently. "You have been cooking for me when you stayed here so I decided to return the favor. I was just about to come at your place and tell you but its a good thing you came here yourself." Kakashi gave her a closed eye smile. "Surprise."

Hanako placed a hand on her chest to calm her heartbeat. It's not a date. He's just returning the favor. Calm down. "I'll go set up the table." Hanako quickly left the scene and started setting the plates and all on the table. Geez. His 'me and you' caught me off guard. What was he trying to pull off? That was so out of the blue. He could have just said that he was returning the favor instead of 'me and you'. Geez Erotake-san. You---

Hanako felt a tap on her shoulder and saw Kakashi giving her a worried look. "Are you okay?" He asked gently.
