You will always catch her at frat parties on the dance floor or getting a drink watching over everyone, you will catch her playing party games but you wi...

"Wakey, wakey sleepy head," I heard someone whisper groggily behind me. I was too tired to care who it was so instead of answering back, I groaned unladylike and shoved my head aggressively under the pillow I was currently resting my head on, this caused the mysterious person with a really groggy voice to chuckle lightly.
All of a sudden, it came back to me. The mysterious person with a groggy voice was Jay, or so I hoped - I mean that told me that we weren't kidnapped in the middle of the night while we were sleeping by the Mafia that Jay got involved with and stupidly betrayed them, I actually wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
"What time is it?" I barely got the words out of my mouth with how dry it was, man where was the dehydration police when you needed them? Not here is the answer if you were wondering, most likely not though.
"Just a little past 10-"
"10?! I'm late for class! SHIT!" I cut Jay off, I couldn't be late for Law, my teacher was going to kill me!
"How late exactly?"
"40 minutes late..." I was not in the best mood as soon as I figured out the time, no one will ever know my death. My teacher could make it look like a suicide, that's how bad he is.
"Don't go then."
"Are you crazy?"
"No?"
"Do you want me dead?"
"Uh- no not really, I'd prefer if you weren't a corpse."
"Then I need to go to class."
"You have already missed most of the lesson, there is no point in going now V, there is only 20 minutes left," Jay had a good point, a brilliant point. I don't know why I panicked so much, it's not like he will investigate after I make a silly excuse up about why I wasn't in. Then again, we are talking about Mr Garfield - I would be disappointed in him if he ever got caught for murdering a student.
"You're right. Violet, calm down, it is only Mr Garfield - he won't ever know that you weren't actually sick," I try and calm myself down before I have a panic attack.
"Wait - Mr Garfield? Do you know how much students he has killed for not turning up to class when nothing was wrong with them?" Jay jokingly teased me, this obviously caused me to roll my eyes although I was still panicking. " I'm kidding.... I think."
In the end, I decided not to go and just hang with Jay until my class was over, so that's what we did.
🍂🍂🍂🍂
"Awe, you cooked breakfast? When are we getting married?" I jokingly teased Jay as he made home-made blueberry pancakes which coincidentally were my favourite.
"Whenever you want babe," he played along with me as he winked, made his way over to me and kissed my cheek like we were a couple, his actions made me cry from laughter.
After a while of just joking and eating our blueberry pancake- which were amazing by the way, probably one of the best I have ever taste - we decided it was time I went back to my own dorm.
"Hey before you go, can I - uh - ask you a quick question?" Jay asked nervously, I felt kind of bad.
"Sure."
"I mean you don't have to but - wait, yes?"
"Yes," I laughed, he really was nervous.
He started to laugh with me until he turned serious again like he was my doctor and was going to tell me I only had a day to live.
"Would you consider going on a date with me?" Jay scratched the nape of neck while looking down uncomfortably before snapping his gaze toward me again.
I nodded to his question making him smile big.
"Great! I'll pick you up at 6!"
"Uh Jay? You didn't ask me?" I giggle causing a blush to form on his already flustered face.
"Oh yeah - uh - would you like to go on a date with me instead of considering it," he chuckled. I nodded with a huge smile on my face, he was so cute sometimes - he reminded me of a baby and a pup playing with each other - yeah, that cute.
"Great, I'll pick you up at 6!" Jay repeated his words from earlier which formed a laughed from me, he was quite the comedian.
"Rodger that," I nod at him before giving him a quick yet tight hug and leaving his dorm to travel back to mine.
Was it bad for me to say that I was actually looking forward to this date? Or that I have butterflies just thinking about what could happen tonight? Or even that I wasn't even thinking of hanging with Jay a dare any more but just two friends instead?
