His-Her Story (Completed)

Their closeness

Shakti reached to Ankur's Office at 10:45 am, she directly went towards his cabin. Ankur was working regarding his next project, hearing the knock on his cabin door he instructed to the enter the cabin.

As Shakti entered his cabin he asked her to sit in front of him, after taking the seat Ankur asked her to wait for their legal advisor. Shakti was looking around and she found 2 photo frames on his working table.

She wanted to have a look on that photos but she didn't wanted to show her curiosity to Ankur. The legal advisor entered the cabin with permission and after that their discussion begin.

After the discussion the legal advisor took their leave and Ankur asked Shakti to order lunch for them. Shakti order Ankur's favourite dishes and Ankur was stunned seeing how much Shakti knew about him.

He too wanted to show his love and today he decided to do that. After lunch both went for registration of land and after completing that Ankur asked Shakti out for a movie and then dinner.

Shakti was stunned as she never dreamt of such a thing in her married life. Hardly after marriage they have gone out and that would be majorly for business parties or family function. First time Ankur have asked her out and she was really happy to spend time with him.

Once they reached theatre Ankur marched Shakti towards a special room. In that private room he has arranged for special screening, Shakti was stunned as her favourite actor movie was playing. She looked at Ankur with a questionable express and can't stop smiling after hearing what he had to say " you wanted to watch this movie, so I thought to make it possible for you, I heard your were talking about this movie with your friend.

For Shakti it was unexpected but for Ankur it was just the step towards showering Shakti with his love and care. He just wanted her to be happy infact he wanted himself to be the reason for her happiness.

After movie they went to dinner on a dabaa which stands to be Shakti's favourite as she was very fond of Desi Punjabi food. Shakti was getting life time shock and she confessed this to Ankur when he asked whether she is comfortable or not. Ankur was very happy at heart as he was the reason for the constant smile on Shakti's face.

There came the time to drop Shakti back to her parents house which was very much hard for Ankur to let her go. He was just driving and passing his time and that came to Shakti's notice, she asked him why he was just turning the car to the random turns?

Ankur answered her and she was utter shocked by his reply
It's just that I don't want to drop you home.
Shakti was silent after his reply.

Ankur finally put a brake to the moving car and thought how to take the next step. Shakti was aware about the surrounding and it was very confusing to her mind. She opened the car door only to be stopped by Ankur holding her hand.

Today both of them were together but Ankur didn't touched her and when he hold her hand she said
"I need to go, Mom & Di must be waiting for me."

Ankur left his hold form her hand and replied  " Just wait for sometime, I want to show you something.".

Shakti looked at Ankur with questioned eyes and her stare was replied by Ankur with a smile. Slowly Ankur moved his hands towards the Dashboard and the drawer Bethan it was opened by him.

Ankur removed a box from the drawer and handed that to Shakti, again Mrs. Ankur was confused and Ankur Wished her "Happy First Marriage Anniversary".

Shakti was speechless after this he was just looking at her and Shakti was no were on earth. The happening from the morning was not at all easily digested by her and this new surprise was just not even believable to her.

Ankur noticed her face and said
"Back to Earth Shakti, kya hua??"
Shakti was not able to speak anything she was just continuously staring at Ankur. Ankur quitely hold her hand and said
" Won't you wish me?"

Now Shakti was able to believe about all the happening, she calmly composed her self and spoke
" Happy Anniversary".

Ankur was slightly disappointed but he didn't show to her. Shakti was still sitting holding the gift Ankur again hold her hand and asked
"Open the box, I hope you like it."

Shakti silently opened the box and a Smile appeared on her face, the box had a Pendent and earrings which looked stunning, she then looked at Ankur and said
"I love them. They are beautiful, Thank you so much.
After a pause she again further said
I didn't expect it from you so I was little drain out. I thought it would never come to your mind but I am very happy you not only remember this day but also you wished me and brought me the gift. Thanks"

Ankur was happy by her reply and he wanted to make her more happy for that he asked "will you go on a date with me Shakti, you and me tomorrow from morning to night we can be together. Will you??

Shakti smiled brightly and replied "at what time?"
Ankur thought for a while and replied
"Morning 9. Will it be ok?

Shakti head was down and she just nodded in reply and quickly opened the door and moved out of the car. Ankur was slightly confused on her gesture and before he could speak she replied
"It's late, you should go and be on time, I will wake you up at 8:00 and I will inform Maa that you won't have breakfast at home. Now go, Bye."

The happiness have no bound for both of them. Their true married life started with their first wedding anniversary.
