to escape the reality
i travel to distant places
some filled with love and wanting
others with adventure and danger
i have imagined places far beyond reach
and dreamed of people far beyond perfect
but somehow, daydreaming ties me down to reality
reality- oh how we wish to escape it
but day by day we learn that our dreams soon become our reality
