I'm really interested in the concept of Hanahaki
(btw for those who don't know hanahaki is a fictional disease born from one sided love where the afflicted's lungs are slowly overtaken by flowers, it'll cause coughing up said flowers, extreme chest pain, and in some cases death. the only way it's cured is if the victim either confesses to their crush, if the crush likes them back, or a surgery that stops the patient from feeling any love anymore. It's usually interpreted differently with each author)
I mean just watching Crushing Defeat it's so easy to see the parallels with Hanahaki Disease! And I really wanna write a story about it!
