They came home

1990

"Come on baby. Push." Said Joven, calmly.
"I'm doing my damn best." Kate screamed. Moments later, out came both boys. Joven and Kate decided to name them Damien and Noah.

A few weeks later
"Joven... Can we talk?" Said Kate, looking tired and broken.
"Its about the kids isn't it?" Joven replied. Kate nodded.
"We can't do this. We're both at breaking point. I think we need to put them up for adoption."
Joven agreed. "I'll miss them though."
"Me too. But it's what's best. For all of us."
"I'll take them to the orphanage tomorrow." Said Joven, distraught.

The next day
Joven picked up the two boys and gave them the biggest hug he could. "I'm sorry. Please remember your biological parents still love you very much. We'll miss you."
Joven put the kids in the car and drove to the orphanage. He took one last look at his children, smiled and left them at the front door with a letter each. As he walked back to his car, he started to cry. "I hope they find us one day." He thought to himself.
