George's POV:

I rush over to Lottie and gently lift her onto the hospital bed then turn to look at my parents who look stunned

'Don't take it offensively, Lottie is, special and she can't help it when she feels the need to protect a loved one.' Dumbledore says to my parents and they nod before everyone's gaze drifts to Sirius who's gently brushing hair out of Lottie's face then leans down to kiss her forehead

'I'm sorry I made that happen.' He whispers against her forehead before going back into a sitting position looks down at his hands

'You really care about her don't you?' Mum says and Sirius looks up and nods

'As if she were my own daughter.' he says mournfully then something inside him seems to break 'I should have been there for her and Harry, I should have been able to watch them grow up and help them with the loss of their parents but I-I wasn't because of P-Peter and I can never ever repay them for not being there for their most important years.' He says putting his head in his hands and his body begins to shake with tears as he keeps mumbling 'it's my fault.' I flick my gaze over to my parents who are having a conversation with their eyes then look over to Sirius

'We believe you.' Dad finally speaks up and I grin as I watch Sirius look up at them in shock before whipping his nose and his sleeve

'Really?' he questions and they both nod.

And in that moment the whole room seemed to brighten. But then that moment ended as I looked over to Lottie and saw her chest was barely moving, her breathing was shallow

'We need to get someone in here.' I said, my gaze not leaving Lottie. Everyone looked to where I was looking and within seconds, Sirius had transformed back into a dog and a three healers where rushing in the room and another was ushering us all out into the waiting room.

After what felt like an eternity one of the healers came out of the room and I jump up from my seat and stumbled over to her

'She'll be fine, she'll need to stay longer than expected and stay away from any stress related things, she's fragile, I honestly don't think she'll ever be able to handle things as well as she has before due to the amount of pain caused, most people would have been driven into insanity but she's strong willed which will make it harder to keep her calm and stress free but it should be manageable.' she explains and everyone nods

'Will she be allowed back to school? We start in a week?' Fred says and the healer looks over everyone

'We'll be keeping her hospitalized and if she makes significant improvement in her health then she'll be able to go to school.' the healer says then looks at her clipboard 'Is Remus Lupin here?' she says looking at us and Lupin stands up

'That's me!' he says raising a hand

'Could I please have a word.' She asks and Lupin nods and follows the nurse, Sirius following him around the corner. What could they be talking about?

'I'm just going to use the loo.' I say standing up and heading in the way of the toilets until I'm out of sight and then go over to where the healer is talking to Lupin and hide behind a cart.

'I need to talk to you about Charlotte's health.' she says and Lupin nods for her to continue 'She should weigh around 110 lbs at the least for her height but she weighs just over 25 lbs less than that which is very unhealthy. Without pressuring and adding stress you need to make sure she's eating enough, if she hasn't gained enough weight before the end of the week we'll have to keep her for longer as her body won't be able to cope with being so malnourished.' she says and I feel my heart drop, 25 lbs under the lowest weight she should be?
