can we , stay like this

i couldn't sleep , my body was laying next to tim , i turned my head watching his chest rise up and down slowly , breath slow and steady in a calm sleep

a couple feet away from him was the clock , it read
1:45am , i sighed moving around trying to get comfortable and warm gently moving around trying not to wake him.

"you okay ?"

I look over with a small smile as he turns his body facing me , eyes half open as the moonlight coming from the window shines on his beautiful face

"yeah, why wouldn't i be silly?" i chuckled .

"your tossing and turning , so i was worried you had a bad dream or something "

rubbing his right eye, he moved closer to me as i did the same copying his movement , i moved a long curl out from his face covering his eyes gently moving it away to get more of a view of his features .

"want me to get you water or anything ." he offered

i looked to my left seeing my half drunken  water glass . i guess i was fine with what i had .shaking my head to his response as a sigh of tiredness leaves his mouth

"okay" he gives my forehead a peck , pulling me close , inhaling his scent  along with the feeling of his addicting body heat i loved against my own .

minutes went by with loud silence , but to only feel his fingers softly grazing up and down my bare spine and him occasionally sighing softly

"tim" i spoke out

"what is it baby" he moved a little on his pillow facing me now , arm still wrapped around me showing me i had all his attention and that he was listening.

"i just..can we just,i want us to be like this forever."

a smile crept to his face , i couldn't see since it was dark and the only light that was coming in was the moonlight , only seeing the outline of his perfect brown curly locks that i loved . he reached a hand to my face caressing it softly

"yes , forever"

he leaned in slowly, holding my face pressing his lips against mine, it was a soft lingering passionate kiss ,

it felt like it was our last and time was on its way to stop any minute now pulling me even closer
hands sliding down my back slowly , his hands rest there after we both pulled away , catching our breaths , my face was dangerously close to his

"God , i love you"

the words left his lips, the words i was dying to hear causing soft goosebumps against my skin . we laid there , softly talking here and there, until sleep took over us.
