-CAITLIN'S POV-
I opened the door as fast as I could. Quickly making my way to the stairs.

"Honey are you ok?" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Yeah I'm fine mom!" I yelled back. "Matt's home!" I said making my way up the stairs. I slammed opened my door flipped on my light.

I smiled when i saw my best friend laying on his stomach on my bed looking through a fashion magazine.

"Dang, they call that fashion?" He said closing the magazine.

"You're so gay Matt." I said laughing.

"Bae!" He said getting up and walking over to me.

"I missed you!" I said wrapping my arms around him.

"I missed you to." He said returning the hug.

"School hasn't been the same without you." I said sitting down in my bed.

Me and Matt have been best friends ever since kindergarten. We have never been split up in any of our classes. Considering Espinosa and Evans both start with E we are always close in every class. But ever since he has become "Vine famous" he hasn't been home a lot. He has joined a thing called Magcon, which means he is almost a always traveling.

"Yeah I've missed it, like not all the work.. Just friends.. mostly you." He said sitting beside me.

I smiled. "So how are all the guys?"

"They're great.. I've became really close with Carter mostly.. But they are all awesome, extremely cool, funny guys."

I nodded looking down at my feet.

"What's wrong?" He asked nudging me.

I looked up. "Nothing.. I umm.." I said "I just really missed you." I said wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

Matt is pretty much my only friend. So with him not around I feel lost. Without him at school, I didn't really talk. I mean people talked to me, and I talked back, but I never had a full on out conversation with anyone like I do with Matt.

"So..what did I miss will I was gone?" He said pulling his shoeless feet up on my bed into a crisscross applesauce position.

"Well.." I said sitting crisscross applesauce in front of him. "Jessica and Josh broke up.."

"Again??" He said with wide eyes "ain't that like the 10th time?"

"12th!" I laughed.

He laughed. "Let me guess she was whoring around again."

I nodded. "Doesn't she always.!"

We laughed.

Me and Matt loved gossiping about the popular people in our school. It was kind of our thing. He is like my gay best friend.

My hot gay best friend that's not gay.
Yes I think Matt is hot. There is no way around it, he is! He just doesn't know that I think he is hot, or would never let me live that down.

"Remember when Jessica tried to get with you?" I said

"Yeah that was scary.." He chuckled.

"She was all like.. 'Oh haiii Matthewwww'" I said in a annoying girly voice leaning over against him.

We both laughed.

I've really missed him.

"I've really missed you." He said. Wow it's like he read my mind.

I smiled. Just then my mom appeared at the door.

"Matthew? Dear, how did you-?"

"How doesn't he always get in here mom?" I chuckled.

She looked over at the open window. "Oh."

"Nice to see you Brandy." He said walking up and hugging her.

Matt's room and my room are right across from each other's. We can just climb across the roofs and a single branch and we can get to each other.

As a matter of fact he would always would come over in the middle of the night and comfort me after I woke up screaming from a horrifying dream that always occurred.

Same dream.
Of my horrifying step dad who use to beat me and my mother until he was taken to jail about 4 and 1/2 years ago.

"You too Matthew." She said returning a gently hug. "Soo.. Did you tell her the new?" She partly whispered to Matt.

"What news?" I said standing up and walking slowly over to them.

"Not yet.." Matt said to my mom then turned to me. "Well.. Um.... I'm not going to be here this summer.." He said

"What?" I said

"I'm going on tour with Magcon..for 4 months.."

My heart dropped. I looked at the ground.
Matt and I always spend summer together. ALWAYS.

"But.." I looked up at him. "I talked to your mom.." He said looking at my mom then me. "You get to come with me!" He said smiling.

"Wait.. Me go with you, and a lot of other guys..traveling around.. For 4 months?"

"Yeah, well your not the only girl.. We have Mahogany.. You in?"

I looked at my mom and at him. "HECK YEAH IM IN!" I said smiling.

"YES!" He said pulling he into a hug.

I hugged him back and then walked over and tackled my mom in a hug.
"Thank you mommy!" I said squeezing her.

"Yeah, thank you mommy!" Matt mimicked and joined the hug.

So yeah I know I haven't finished 'Meant to be' but yeah I've really wanted to put this up. So yeah.
