The Pharaoh's return

Chapter 16: 5 Years Later

Just so you know this will probably be a really short chapter to round the whole story off, and yes it is the final chapter. Don't worry I plan on making another puzzleshipping story soon just working on the cover page and working the kinks out the plot so look forward to that and Enjoy!

It had been 5 years after that day and ever since then everything had been going really well, Atem had proposed to Yugi and the two got married within a month of the proposal. Then 9 months later Yugi gave birth to two beautiful children a girl named Sohara and a boy named Takeshi. Sohara was of course her daddies girl, she had Yugi's eyes and Atem's powerful and slightly overbearing personality, she was always exploring and couldn't stay in one place for long especially when her daddy was away somewhere, she always have to look for him like one big game of hide and seek. This of course scared Yugi half to death every time he would turn and she would be gone. Takeshi on the other hand was his mommies boy, he was always stuck to Yugi's hip and was much more tame, he was shy and scared most of the time. The moment Yugi put him down or handed him to someone then walked away to get something done he would start crying in want for him to come back and he had Atem's eyes and the exact same blonde bangs as his daddy.

In the palace garden's Yugi was sitting with Mahad having a random conversation about things that had been going on in the town and about the family obviously he was finally allowed a little break as Atem was running away from the kids laughing as they tried to catch him. The two 4 year olds laughed as they chased their daddy around the large gardens.

''I have not seen my Pharaoh this happy or active for a very long time it is refreshing to see him looking so happy once more and it has been reflecting so well on the way he rules over Egypt'' Mahad said with a smile as he watched Atem with his bright smile almost as bright as the sun itself but then he was now the new sun god. Ra had used his powers to save Atem meaning that Atem was now the new god of the sun, Yugi nodded watching his husband with nothing but love in his eyes as he watched him.

''I know our marriage and then the day the kids were born those two days were the days that Atem started smiling even brighter than before which was already saying a lot when we were together'' Yugi replied with a smile just then there was a loud thud followed by excited shouting and laughing.

''We got you daddy we got you we got you!'' The kids shouted as they jumped up and down on top of Atem who was now laying on his back on the grass laughing

''I can see that ow! And feel it too haha!'' Atem said glancing over to Yugi as he felt him staring he smiled and nodded him over which Yugi happily did standing up and walking over. Just then Atem grabbed his hand pulling him down and rolling over so he was laying on top of Yugi and kissing his lips. Yugi was surprised but melted and wrapped his arms around Atem kissing him back. They ignored the teasing words their kids said as Mahad took them to the other side of the garden using his magic to entertain them a little.

And just like that the Pharaoh of Egypt lived the rest of eternity with his queen and their two children ruling over the fair land of Egypt for the rest of their lives.
