Summary: 5 times you almost tell Cheryl Blossom how you feel and 1 time she tells you how she feels

You had known Cheryl Blossom your entire life. The two of you had been best friends for as long as you could remember. There was bad blood between your parents but you didn't let that stop you from spending time with the red-haired beauty. You had slowly fallen in love with her over the many years that you had known each other, but you could never bring yourself to tell her. You were spending time with her at her house, when she practically forced you to allow her to give you a make over. You had a hard time telling her no, however, especially when she wore that cute little pout on her lips. She was applying lip gloss to your lips, and you were focused on her face, watching her concentrate. Cheryl was beautiful. The most gorgeous girl you had ever laid eyes on, a goddess among mortals. And you were blessed to be in this close of proximity to her.
"There. All finished." She whispered.
You nodded and smiled softly at her, seeing how happy she was with herself.
"You look absolutely stunning, Y/N." She told you, looking into your eyes.
"Don't I always?" You feigned hurt.
"Of course you do." She said sincerely.
You felt a blush creep onto your cheeks.
"Cheryl I-" You started, before shaking off your feelings. "I should probably head home."
"Oh, okay. I'll see you tomorrow?" She pouted slightly.
"Of course, princess." You smiled at her.
She beamed at the nickname and pulled you into a hug as soon as you stood to your feet. You chuckled slightly and wrapped your arms around her waist, holding her close to you.
"Be careful on your way home. I love you. Text me when you get to your house so I know you're safe." She mumbled into your shoulder.
"Yes, mother. I love you too." You joked, smiling at her concern for you.
She reluctantly pulled out of the hug and pressed her lips to your cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow." She whispered.
"Okay. Bye, Cher." You said, stepping out of her room in a daze because of the red lipstick stain on your cheek.

You had been having issues at school lately. You were being bullied, because you weren't straight. Cheryl wasn't aware of the constant teasing you had to endure, and you would gladly keep it that way. Of course she knew about your sexual orientation, and she didn't judge you because she was bisexual herself. It would infuriate her to know that you were being bullied, especially because her brother was one of your biggest tormentors. You were sitting in your usual booth at Pop's when a few of the football players came in. Jason, Chuck, and Reggie. They made their way over to you.
"Oh look, it's the resident dyke." Chuck commented.
"I didn't think Pop Tate would let freaks like you in here." Jason said.
"Fuck off you guys, I just want to drink a milkshake in peace." You grumbled.
Reggie and Chuck pulled you out of your seat and held you in place while Jason stepped closer to you.
"What did you just say to me?" He asked.
"Fuck off." You snarled.
His fist connected with your face, and you knew you would have a black eye.
