The Queen herself said in a interview that Hufflepuff is her favorite house, also her daughter said that everyone should want to be in Hufflepuff.
It also says that Hufflepuffs stayed for a different reason in the battle of Hogwarts. Although I don't think every house stayed for the same reason.
