We have been on this boat for 2 days and I never thought I could grow to wait someone so much.
"I just want to say thank you for following me" Thomas says as we draw closer to the scorch. Gally and I both roll our eyes and look at each other, neither of us are big fans of Thomas, mainly because we remember everything that happened before the maze.
"What's with you two?" Minho asks us.
"Look Minho we just got you back I don't want to fight about Tommy right now" I say, Thomas glares at me.
"Don't call me Tommy" he snaps.
"Look Tommy maybe you should have kept Newt alive and we wouldn't have this problem, I know he's a Clone but you didn't. You just left him there, great friend I can tell you cared for him. I don't even want to know the details about Teresa, all I know is that you did a shuck job of keeping her alive as well" I shout, everyone goes silent and Thomas reaches for a gun, aiming at my head.
"Want to say that again ?" Thomas asks
"Would you do it, would you shoot me Thomas, because I hate the idea of using Newt as a life line but I will if I have to" I tell him.
"STOP, I could kill you right now" Thomas threatens
"Go on then shoot" I taunt. Behind my back I slightly move my fingers and a green glow emits from them causing Thomas to fly back. Oddly enough my powers have become stronger, I seem to be able to not only control nature, but the force of gravity as well.
"Stop it !" Brenda shouts, Thomas and I both look at her. "You've both gone mad, you both care for Newt and your rubbing each other the wrong way. Neither of your are in the wrong but you both seriously need to sort yourselves out." She continues her voice becoming significantly calmer as she talks.
§~~~~TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY REACH THE SCORCH~~~~§
We finally arrive. I pull out the clue from my pocket and re-read it,
"in the scorch, up mountains, under the caves roof, through the tunnel home to Cranks and up onto the earth" so we need to go through the mountains.
"Why do I feel like this will turn into a wild goose chase" Frypan says
"Probably because that's what it is" Minho moans.
NEWTS POV
I sit in my cold dark cell waiting. "She's coming" i whisper to myself. I don't know where I am but I know that it has something to do with a powerful machine and a mirror. When they first brought me here they where asking questions about a mirror shard. Didn't Raylea find a mirror shard before we went into that crank infested tunnel ?
A talk thin man with black hair comes up to the bars and smiles cruelly, his stained yellow teeth bending outwards. "How are you enjoying your stay ?" He asks, I don't answer and he growls angrily.
"Excuse me Sir, it's about the kids, they are back in the scorch and are heading towards the mountains." A man says
"And why would they be heading there ?" The raggedy teeth man asks.
"Um there have been reports of a mirror shard there." The man says.
"Send all our men there now, NOW" his voice booms and rattles against the iron bars. Both men vanish out of my sight and I regain my past position against the wall.
I need to get out, I need to help them in anyway possible.
I'm sorry for another short chapter, I hope you are enjoying the story and I just want to say that the plot will get a lot more exciting soon.
