Unforgetting

Everyone who ever knew you is gone,

And your drawings scattered in the shattered ice,

Sweeping away with that pittiless wind

To the place your photos went after the

Fire crackled them away.

It hurts to know that the only place you exist now

Is in my memory, and your smile in my mind

Is bittersweet without the warmth of you in my arms.

It's agony to carry you long after you're gone,

But I could never forget you; you deserve so much better.

So the least I can do is carry you and our story

In My Heart.
