I woke up and John was gone. In his place was a note.

Dear Kaitlyn,

Sorry I left without saying anything, but I have a very important meeting to go to. It's being held in the courtyard if you want to come watch.

Love,
John

I smiled and climbed out of bed. I went over to our dresser and dug through the clothes. John had bought me some my first day here. I put on a burgundy sweater, skin-tight jeans, and a scarf that matched it all. I made my way to the courtyard and instantly spotted my friends.

"Hey Kaitlyn!" Ronnie said hugging me.

"Hey," I said smiling.

"Hey Kait, how's it going?" Kal asked.

"It's going great! John and I slept in the same bed last night," I said happily throwing my arm around Kal. Kai kissed Ronnie and grinned at me.

"Hello Kaitlyn," a familiar voice muttered from behind me. It was cold and harsh. I turned around and saw Henry staring at me with a smirk on his face.

"H-Hi," I said quietly.

"Sorry, she's nervous around other people," Ronnie said.

He's the one who abused me. Who poured wolfsbane on me, I thought.

Are you serious? She growled. Ronnie and I had connected our brain waves when we were at Jack's. Since we couldn't talk out loud we talked in our minds. We knew everything about each other. Ronnie glared at Henry. Ronnie had never been abused by anyone. Not even Jack. I guess Jack just felt the need to abuse me and no one else. That's how it usually worked. The boys were confused as to why we were glaring at Henry.

"It's all right. I'm an old friend of her's, isn't that right?" Henry asked. I was afraid of what he would do if I said no.

"Y-Yes," I whispered. Henry grabbed my arm and hugged me. Oh my God. He could act for other people. Ronnie growled but Kai grabbed her.

"Let's let them catch up," Kai said dragging Ronnie away.

Follow us, Ronnie thought.

I can't. It'll be worse if I don't obey Henry now, I thought. Ronnie looked at me with pleading eyes as Henry dragged me in the opposite direction. I left just as John got on the stage. Henry brought me some place away from the crowd. And closed the door behind him. He busted out laughing.

"I never thought I'd see you again," he chuckled. He, of all people, drive me back into silence. "How are they treating you here?"

"B-Better t-than you ever d-did," I hissed. Mistake.

"Is that so?" Henry asked. He suddenly slapped me across the face. Hard. I felt the blood in my mouth. "Have you even phased yet? No. You'll never phase. You're just a human who has wolf parents, that you've never met."

"P-Please stop," I whispered tears streaming down my face. That only pissed off Henry. He kicked me in the stomach causing me to fall over, holding my stomach. That would bruise as well as the slap.

"All Alphas please report to the stage," we both heard John say loudly. He gave me one last punch in the stomach and face before he left. He shut the door behind him, leaving me alone in the dark. I brought my knees to my chest and dug my head into my knees. I held myself like that for who knows how long. I finally got up and opened the door, letting the moonlight stream in. The entire town was silent.

I ran, even though it hurt, towards John's house. I turned the corner and ran into something. I almost fell back but that someone caught me. John.

"Are you okay?" John asked. I looked at the ground so that he couldn't see my face. He forced me to look at him. His eyes widened at my bloody mouth and the bruises on my face. He gently touched my bruised cheek and I flinched back. "Who did this to you?"

"Telling you will only make things worse," I whispered. John was engulfed in rage. He punched the wall beside me angrily.

"Tell me," he growled. I looked at him in fear. He never yells at me. I cowared away. It reminded me of Henry.

"I-I'm s-sorry," I whispered beginning to cry. John's eyes widened and his fist dropped.

"Please don't stutter anymore. Haven't I proved that I'll never hurt you?" John asked.

"H-Hen, H-Hen," I couldn't even say Henry's name out loud. I slid down the wall and ran my fingers through my hair.

"I'm sorry I yelled. I'm just upset that someone hurt you. I don't want anyone hurting you," John said. Just say the damn name! You can tell him.

"H-Henry," I muttered. John took of to where all the Alphas were staying. I was quivering when he left. Why couldn't he stay with me? It was several minutes after he left when I heard something. Henry came out of the shadows.

"So you told him? Is it because he frightened you?" Henry asked.

"N-No," I whispered. Henry grabbed me and held my mouth shut so I couldn't scream. He dragged me into an alleyway where rope and tape were waiting. He duct taped my mouth and tied my arms together as well as my legs.

"We're going to have fun," Henry said dragging me away. He led me not far off John's pack territory into a small cabin that was completely masked of scent. The cabin had a single chair in it that I was instantly strapped to. He set up a camera and turned it on. He put on gloves and left the room. He came back carrying a bucket of wolfsbane. The camera couldn't see it yet. I began struggling. This was going to hurt.
