In Love With A Criminal ~ Bughead

Chapter Sixteen

Jughead POV

I step off my bike and help Betty off. I give her a quick peak on the lips and put my arm around her shoulder and pull her tight to my side as we make our way threw the doors with Fangs, Veronica and Sweetpea following us. As I push the doors open I couldn't help but have a smirk on my face as people stoped and stared with there moves open as they marvelled at me and Betty.

When we reach Betty's locker I lean on the one next to hers as she gets her books out.

"You ok babe?"

"Yes Jug I'm fine. I will let you know if I want to go or anything happens." She gives me a weak smile. I rap my arms around her and hold her close

"Ok. Promise you will tell me."
Before she can respond there was a rumble of bikes. I look at the doors at the end of the corridor Sweetpea and Fangs run up to us with Veronica trying to keep up with them.

"Boss. It's Malachai. He's hear with his goons. There school was set on fire and know there coming hear!" Fangs says a little out of breath.

"Shit!" I shout punching the lockers behind me. A go to punch them a gain when I feel someone's hand on my cheek. I turn to see Betty looking worried. She has know idea why I am so angry at this. I turn to her and pull her in to a passionate kiss. I turn to Sweetpea and Fangs who are looking at me waiting for orders.

"Listen to me you two and Veronica don't leave Betty's side. If she goes the toilet you wait out side for her. Do you understand. If any of the Ghoulies get any near her you have my permission to beat the shit out of them. Do you understand?"

"Yes boss." They both sat in unison I turn to Betty and kiss her.

"I will see you at lunch and after school I will tell you everything then. Ok?"

"Ok" she says with a weak smile. And then I walk of to my class I'm not as worried about Betty knowing Sweetpea and Fangs are with her because I know they are the most trained and trusted serpents at this school and also knowing Veronica is with her means she has a friend there with her.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while I was on holiday but know I have a lot of exams so posts may not be that often but I will try my hardest to post.
