The beginning

A big strong man was standing in an empty alley. The wind was blowing today and he could feel it. He tightened he grip on his walnut brown coat, the dark blue jeans didn't make him any warmer, too. His long hair with the color of a maple tree's trunk was getting in front of his eyes, the combination of it and the wind was quite annoying, but he had to suck it up. It's not like it was the biggest problem he had right now.

Suddenly he heard light footsteps behind him. He smiled. Just as slowly as the steps were coming, he turned to face the cause of the steps. The stranger seemed not intrigued by the slow move, if the stranger wanted to attack, he already lost his chance. The problem with that was, he did not want to attack.

The stranger came to a field of light. It seemed that it made him uncomfortable. He himself looked fine for a creep lurking in the alley, but a person could laugh at his height, he looked like a child with how pitifuly small was he.

The stranger shook with his gold hair which was really messy, probably because of the wind. After that he stopped walking and looked into the brown haired man's eyes. He didn't even flinch when he was facing him, even thought he was aware of the height difference.

''You surely can pick a great place for a meeting Eagan,'' said the brown haired man, while he was holding tightly on his coat. His face didn't look really pleased.

The small man just smirked as he was taking some papers from the pocket of his jeans. The papers looked ancient and surely weren't really pleasing to hold, it's surprising they didn't turn to dust in his pockets. ''Because you surely want to show this thingy to everyone who's enjoying their time anywhere else in the city, ey? Even you are not so stupidly dumb, right?'' he crossed his hands and moved his right eyebrow up to sign his curiosity.

''We could meet home you idiot. Y'know we live together. Or do those two ladies disturb you that much? Like it's so obvious you and Kacy want to take it to another level,'' with every word the man looked more displeased. The weird paper didn't even impress him. He only gave it a small glance.

''Aww, c'mon don't be so serious. It's just an empty, creepy valley for shady stuff, like we're doing! It's just perfect,'' he turned his back on the big guy and started walking backwards with his hands to the air, ''no place better to discuss old prophecies from an old lent paper,'' when he was just right in front of the guy, he fell on his back, expecting that his friend will catch him. Well, the other man didn't move a muscle and just stared on the small thing staring surprised and confused on the floor.

''You done with your silly play? And seriusly?! You lent it?! We could be going over this stuff at home, but nah-ah, you took me here over a lent paper,'' he facepalmed himself.

The blonde guy was standing up from the ground while looking all sad, ''Jayce, why are you all so worked up? You're usually all jokes an' stuff, but now you act like Kacy the second,'' there was a slight pause, '' 'kay, let's go home,'' he quickly ran to the end of the valley, ''let's go solve this prophecy thingy!'' he looked at his friend with a teasing smile.

The brown haired guy smiled, ''Ah, no. You will not compare me to that no-jokes-all-serious crush of your's!'' with that words he raced after him. The wind giving him a slight boost. Of course, his friend was outrunning him, not only, because of his lead, but also because of how agile he was.

Thus a new journey began for both of them.
