Letter #8 (Fifth Grade)

Dear Matilda,

I start fifth grade tomorrow. I'm so excited. My handwriting is so much better now, can't you tell? I've gotten better at using commas also. Do you know how to use commas? You know you're my best friend right? I still have my half of our friendship necklaces. I wear it everyday. Do you still wear yours? I have a new favorite color. It isn't pink anymore. It's aqua. I like it just because of the name. Q's are funny. Do you like q's? I'm sorry I didn't write over the summer. I spent June with my aunt and uncle in Florida. It was so nice! The beach is so fun! When you get back, we can go to Florida together! I can't wait!
