Riley's POV

Yet again here I was in history class. First of all, don't take me as a girl that hates history. I love history. It was my favorite subject.  I finished my exams last week. Not for just history, but for every subject. Every day I have been studying and working my ass off for nice grades. And the reason is... FIRST CAR!!! Well, it won't be just my car, I will share it whit my brother Sam.

Sam and I agreed with our father that we will get our car if we will have nice grades. I did my job, and now is Sam's turn. I am really begging God that my brother would get an A. I really want a car and if I don't get it because of Sam I will kill him. Slowly and painfully. Then I will find a way to bring him back and do it again.

Teacher: ''Okay, Mr. Witwicky, you're up.''

I turned my head to look at my brother. He was sitting on my right. He and I always sat together. It was our thing. From kindergarten to high school. We always sat together. He quickly stood up and walked to the teacher's desk. He put his bag on the table in front of him and dumped everything out of it. By everything, I meant old things that belonged to our grand-grand-grandfathers. It looked like Sam robbed the museum. It was strange that there were no human bones.

I told him to not bring so many things but he never listens to me. Just then when he was about to start his presentation, a yellow rubber hit his neck.

Teacher: ''Who did... Who did that? People! Responsibility.''

My body turner around so I could look who did this. I didn't need to look far. My eyes stooped on Trent who was sitting behind mine and Sam's desk. He was sitting next to my best friend Mikaela. Mikaela was a pretty, friendly, nice, and honest person. To me, she was like a sister.

Trent is her boyfriend and I really don't get it why she likes him. He is mean and stupid. He is a bully. I gave him a death glare and then looked back at my brother. I will always have Sam's back.

Sam: ''In 1897, he took 41 brave sailors straight into the Arctic Shelf..''

When he was talking about our great-great-grandfather, I was thinking about the car. I just can't help it but really want it. I was thinking about something sporty. Personally, I think that sports cars are the best and I am glad that Sam thing's the same.

Sam: ''So that's the story. And here we have some of the basic instruments and tools used by 19th-century seamen.''

Everyone in the class began to laugh. OMG.

Sam: ''This here is the quadrant, which you can get for 80 bucks. It's all for sale, by the way. Like the sextant here. $ 50 for this, which is a bargain. Those are pretty cool. Grant-grant-grandfathers glasses.''

OMG, I will kill myself. He is selling those old things in school. Why the heck was I helping him find those things.

Sam: ''My sister Riley helped me find them. They are cool.''

When he said my name I slowly look to my right and my left. All eyes were on me. OMG, I will kill him. Sometimes he is being so stupid and sometimes I am wondering if we are ever, brother and sister. We are so different. Like I am smart and he is stupid. I am not being mean but I am being honest.

Teacher: ''Are you going to sell me his liver? Mr. Witwicky, I don't think that your grandfather would be particularly proud of what you're doing.''

I must say that I agree with the professor. If he was still alive he would get a heart attack.

Sam: ''I know. I am sorry. I just, you know, this is all going towards my car found. You call tell your folks it's on eBay I take PayPal.''

Sam continued whit his project and I didn't really pay any attention. I was so angry whit him. If I could I would go up there and strangle him. When the bell filled my ears I began gathering my stuff. I was about to wait for my brother, but he told me that he will catch up. I nod my head and then left the classroom. I was walking down the hallway when I heard that someone was calling me. I turned around and I saw Mikaela.
