Chp. 8 TALKING AND WALKING

Ugh i can't believe her i swear i hate that blonde evil witch . i say in my head as im walking down the stone path that leads to the benches in the park i take a seat and put my hands on my head to think over what just happen between me and Conner . 

" we had a moment right?"

"what was those tingle things?"

ugh why do everything have to be sooo hard to understand geesh 

"Umm Ariel?"

i look up from hands to see no other than the sex god conner 

"yea?"

"you alright?"

i stare at him for a moment to study his features he has cute moles over his face and body his lips are so mouth watering i just want to jump on him and-

"please say something Ariel"

" Oh ummm yea im fine"

" sorry for Sally she can be a real bitch sometimes im glad i just ended it " Conner says as he takes a seat next to me on the bench , WAIT HE WHAT?! 

"you broke up with her?"

"yep" he says popping the p

"why?" i ask 

"because i had to " 

"you had to ?"

"yea" he says while staring in my eyes i could get lost in his dark brown eye's 

"ummm wanna go for a walk Ariel if you don't mind"

"yea sure "

as we get of the bench we start our walk around the park then we get to talking about our dislike and likes i found out that we both love cheeseburgers and we both love the movie Warm Bodies also he is attending UCLA in the fall and other stuff i think we walked for 2 hours just talking.

"you look tired Ariel come on let's head back " Conner says as he grab my hand in his and thats when i loose all the air i have left in my body his hand is so perfect and mine and it's really warm and the sparks I'm feeling is just wonderful, I  just stare at it as he leads the way back to the sweaty guys playing football 

"HEADS UP DUDE!"

someone yells as i look up and  there is a huge football making its way to my face i close my eyes waiting for the impact but nothing  came i open my eyes really slow just to see Conner hand with the football in it inches away from my face i turn to him and he has a smirk on his face i look down to notice we are still holding hands i quickly let go only to see his smirk fade and replace with a frown

"umm where is Tanner?"

i say looking around ,that's until i hear a low growl i turn to see Conner looking at the ground and his jaw clenched

" umm Conner you ok ?" i say i put my hand on his arm he jolts his head up and give me a sweet smile i return it with one of my own

"why do you wanna know where Tanner is " he says with  a strained voice

" well um i need him to take me home since i came with him" i say while holding the tips of my hair something i do when im nervous .

"well i can take you home"

"no its fine i want Tanner to " i say without looking at him

"fine then " he says as he stomps away angry

"what was that about" i say 

"what's what about kitten" Tanner says walking to me 

"nothing umm im ready to go i should get home before my dad file a missing person report"i say while laughing

"oh yea come on kitten " Tanner says heading to his car i look up following him and noticing him without a shirt my eyes go wide as i stand there .

"umm you ok there kitten haha you should close your mouth so you wont catch  a bug something"

he says with a smirk but before i could reply a shirt comes flying his way i turn my head to see a very pissed off Conner. i look back to see Tanner smirking back at Conner, weird i say in my head as i walk to the car and hop inside ready to get home to my angry father.
