Everything was silent for a moment as they processed the information their grandmother had just let them in on. "How long have you known this?" Gemma turned to her mom. She let out a sigh. "Only since early this morning." That would explain why Harry's mother wasn't her usual self. "How long have you known this?" Harry asked his grandmother who was calm despite the hurt expressions on her grandchildrens faces. "I've known for two weeks," she said placing her fork down.

"Two weeks?!" Harry and Gemma gasped.

"Two weeks and you're just telling us now?"

Harry's eyes were starting to fill with tears, and I knew why his mother wanted to make sure I came; as comfort for him when his grandma broke the news. "Why would you wait until now..?" Gemma asked, hoping her grandmother would answer her or her brother. "It just seemed like the right time. I needed it all to sink in, and it has, so now that I'm content with it, I thought it was only right that I let you all know." Things went back to the uncomfortable silence. I ran circles along Harry's back with my finger.

"Well how long do you have?" Harry found his voice once more. "I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know? It's terminal." Gemma said.

"The doctors estimated a timespan, but I told them I didn't want to know, because I don't want to."

"Well, we would like to know." Harry said.

"I'm sorry you guys.." she frowned, and that was the first time I'd seen the light Harry's grandmother was exuding from the moment I met her start to fade. "This is unbelievable.. why'd it have to happen to you?" Harry's voice cracked causing shivers to race up my spine. "Why does it have to happen to anyone?"

Harry was silent most of the ride back to the hotel. I just wanted to make everything better again, but I didn't know how. All I could think of to say "Are you okay?" and all he could say was, "Not really.." My brain was shut down, it was like the second his grandmother made that announcement and I saw the hurt on everyones faces all the caring, comforting words I could've been using decided to hide. I know they're only words, but sometimes it lessens the blow.

Harry stopped in front of the hotel, and put his car in park. "Sorry that today absolutely sucked.." he said, and it was the most I heard from him the entire car ride. "Do you want me to stay the night?" I asked.

"It'd be nice, but you can't. I don't want to to get shipped off before it's actually time." He leaned over and placed a kiss on my lips. "I'll see you tomorrow. Maybe we can all do something together if your friends want. I need as many distractions as I can get." he gently gave my cheek a squeeze. "Will do. Call me if you need to talk." I said. Harry nodded.

I made it just in time for check in's. Dinah was on her phone and gave me a smile. "How was the Buckingham Palace?" she asked. I let out a sigh, and placed my camera down on the nightstand. "It was okay. Didn't get to go inside. My evening has just been rough."

"Why? Are you okay?" Dinah asked sitting up. "You and Harry didn't get into a fight, right?" I shook my head slipping out of my shirt and into a dingy old t-shirt I had for years. "No. We're good. He just, he found out that his grandma has terminal cancer, and he's trying his best to as "okay" as he can be."

Dinah had the same reaction as I had when she said it, she threw her hand over her mouth. "That's terrible. I can't even imagine.." I nodded, silently agreeing with her. "But, he wants us to distract him, so tomorrow he suggested we all do something together."

"I'm so down. Our second to last night in London. What do you have in mind?"

"I don't know, maybe just hanging out. You know? We don't need to do anything elaborate. We can just go out and eat or something."

So when the following day rolled around, that's what we did. We all gathered at Zayn and the boys apartment since it was the most spacious of the two options we had. We pitched in money, and got five boxes of pizza, all different varieties. Harry wasn't visibly as heartbroken as he was yesterday, I told him it's okay to show his emotions toward the situation, but he insisted that he was handling with ease.

"I'm actually disappointed that you guys are leaving..." Zayn said ripping the crust off of his pizza. "Tell me about it.." Lauren sighed, Zayn gave her hand a squeeze. "I'm glad I met each one of you." Niall said. We all clinked our plastic cups of soda together. "Keep in touch." Liam said, especially to Troy in specific who he's grown closest to. Louis was closest with Siope, and Masi so they were off in their own actual conversations.

"Tomorrows your guyses last day and night here in London town, what trouble are we all going to get ourselves into." Niall said. Louis deviously rubbed his hands together. "The possibilities are endless. I kinda want to party since the teachers are raising our curfews to one in the morning." Siope said.

"One in the morning? Those are some awesome teachers." Louis said.

"Yeah, we got some down ass teachers. Just find a party and I'm in there." Masi said. Normani raised her eyebrows. "No you are not "in there" you're gonna get in trouble if you get caught." Dinah nodded, agreeing with her lawlaw. "We get caught, we get caught. We got a day and a half left anyways." Siope noted.

"Well, you better care, because of prom, and if your dumb ass gets caught I'm not gonna have a date to prom." Dinah scolded her boyfriend.

Despite the debate that was going on, I couldn't help but notice that Harry was still unusually quiet. I nudged him. "You okay?" he shrugged and then stood up taking my hand. "Can we go outside for a minute?" he asked. I nodded, and followed him out into the dark night, the brisk air wrapping around me. Harry leaned up against the railing, the exact one he thought he could skateboard down resulting in a sprained ankle and stitches.

"I just thought being around everyone would distract me, but I'm still thinking about it." I frowned as Harry stared straight ahead, with an unfocused gaze. "Is she still at your house?" I asked.

"Yeah. She insists that she's fine to go home, but my mum and Gemma are making her stay. Tomorrow morning I have to go to her house and get some of her things. She's not too happy, but if it's terminal, you never really know when a good things going to end." The streetlamps were illumimating a dim light, and I could see Harry had clenched his jaw together. "Do you want to head over there? I can just ask Zayn to drive me back. It's really not a problem." Harry had a hand dug deep in his pockets, as if he were thinking. "That'd probably be good for me. Tomorrow, I promise you that, I'll be a better version of myself." Harry leaned down and kissed me.

We said our see you laters, and he walked down the stairs, and I was about to go back inside the building. "I feel bad now," Harry suddenly said. I turned around, my hand still on the doorknob. "And why is that?"

"I didn't make you laugh at all today." he truly sounded disappointed in himself. I smiled, "It's been a rough day for you;" I shrugged.

"Tomorrow, can you wear those pineapple pants?" he asked. That made me laugh because it was so random. "Whatever you want curly." I blew him a kiss, and told him to be safe before I went back inside.

-

"Today was all for him. It's sad he wasn't able to enjoy himself." Dinah frowned from her bed. We had gotten back from the boys apartment an hour ago. I nodded, fluffing my pillow. "It's good he was even making an effort though. I mean, if God forbid something like that were happening to my abuela you wouldn't see me ever. I'd be right by her side crying until I couldn't cry anymore. I don't know." I sighed and got rid of the thought. I climbed into my bed. "You make the situation seem somewhat tolerable for him." Dinah said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You're a happy person, and you have this bright energy that people can feed off of. Harry is going through something right now, and he's turning to you for comfort. It's like you make him strong." I gave a small smile at Dinah's sweet words. "What you two have is really special, and you guys need to keep grasping onto that."

"Thanks Dinah."

"No problem," she yawned. She clapped her hands together loudly and the lights went out. The signal that it was bed time.
