DEAR DIARY,
I'm currently on cloud nine. Today felt like a complete dream. I still can't wrap my head around the fact Max likes me the way I like her but I'm just glad she does, even if I don't fully understand it.

Everything went so well, she even asked me to hang out again tomorrow! I said yes, of course, and I simply can't wait!

The hours passed in the blink of an eye and before I knew it, the sun was already setting. An orange light shone through the large windows and it made Max look like an angel, a saint even.

" I've got to start heading home now, otherwise my parents are going to freak out." I stated, turning my head to my left, where Max sat. She was fiddling with the zipper of her red Adidas jacket.

" Yeah, it's getting kind of late." She replied. " You should get going."

As I got up to leave, I felt her cold hands hold onto my wrist. " Can we hang out after school tomorrow? Sunny Dee maybe?"

I turned around, a soft smile on my face, before cupping her crimson- tinted cheeks with my hands and placing my lips on hers.

I slowly pulled away and replied with a simple " I'd love to."

" See you tomorrow, loser!" Max's voice echoed in the Hawkins High gym as I made my way to the exit. I could tell she was smiling without even looking at her.

" See you tomorrow, Mad Max!" I shouted back, slightly turning around and waving my right hand in the air.
