"Man, Lyric you know I wouldn't ever hurt yo fam like that!", Jobari yelled through the phone.  We was still sitting in the parking lot of the Hospital.

"Who shot her then!'', I spat back waking up the twins.  I stepped out the car and leaned on the door.

"Look, yeah we jumped Tone but that was because he was selling for my dad too and you know that nigga got a hit out on me.  I was just getting my point across, so put the pieces together.", he said.

I laughed.  "So, you tryna tell me Rank shot my sister?", I asked pacing back and forth.  Maya cracked the window.

"What's he saying?", Maya asked.  I could hear the twins asking a million questions.  I held up my finger.

"If my car was parked in the front, why was we running through the back!", he yelled.  This shit wasn't making since.  If this was true then that means Rank found out the same thing Jobari found out and-- I stopped.

"Rank was trying to kill tone", I said. 

"Mhm", he said.

"The hug!'', I yelled looking at Maya.  She looked confused more than I was.  "Remember, Akia jumped out the car and ran to give Tony a hug.  Well, Rank couldn't get no good shot of Tone so he shot Akia", I said.

"If Rank shot Akia then where was he, because the car came from around the corner?", she asked.

"The same way he tricked yall is how he got me", Jobari stated.  I scrunched up my face.

"What?", I asked.

"When Tone was coming back to yall we was about to bounce until I got a call from Rank saying to come out back he wanted to talk.  Don and I walked back there to see it was this green sedan and shots got to busting.  We ended up ducking behind a garbage dumpster-- before he could finish I cutted him off.

"Which was a distraction to both of us enough for Rank to get out of wherever he was", I said looking blankly at Maya.

"Bingo!, but I promise you Lyric ima get  him", Jobari said before hanging up.  I got back in the car and told Maya everything and around that time my dad was walking towards the car.  This was gone be a long ride home.

He started the car and I glanced over at his face.  I can tell he was pissed, but his eyes was still glossy.  "Dad--", I began to say but he cutted me off.

"Lyric, did I ask you anything?", He yelled at me.

"No", I responded

"Okay, so shut the fuck up", He yelled back. 

         I looked out the mirror and all I could think about was all of this was my fault.  If I was never dating Jobari, this wouldn't had happened or if I wasn't playing Clue with Sy, my sister woudn't be in this situation.  Now I'm bringing my cousin into this too, its too much.  Tears fell down my face and I quickly wiped them.
