Chapter Sixteen

Friday Night

*Rita's POV*

Friday came kinda quick. The couple days that passed, were almost a blur. I just know I woke up the morning after feeling better than I had in awhile. I was sore but I felt amazing none the less. Its Friday & I still can't stop smiling. I sat at the cutest coffee shop with Trinity, Nikki, & Brie. I stared out of the window thinking to myself about how giddy Roman makes me feel.

"Earth to Rita," I hear Nikki say.

I immediately look at her.

"Yeah," I reply.

"Girl where did you go. what's got you spacey & smiling?" Brie asked.

"What do you mean spacey & smiling, I'm not," I say.

"Your comeback needs work hun,"Nikki said.

I place my face in my hands. I can't help but smile. It was kind of tattooed on lately. All three women look at me.

"Okay, out with it. Who has you so gone?" Trinity asked.

"What?!" was all I had.

"Rita don't try to deny it. You have been giddy & spacey since Wednesday. Who put it on you?" she asked.

"You know what Trin you are right. She has been smiling none stop thses pass couple of days. so was it Jon?" Nikki asked.

All three looked at me waiting for an answer. As bad as I wanted to tell them I didn't want anyone to know yet.

"mums the word," I simply say.

They all give me an evil look. I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm gonna find out. you might as well tell us," Brie said.

"it'll come out. nothing stays secret here for long," Trinity said.

"It's not that I'm trynna keep it a secret. its just early. Don't want to get ahead of myself you know," I explain.

"We understand. but whenever you want to talk, we're here honey," Brie says.

I thanked all of them. We finished our coffee as we needed to head to the arena. We walked in. I gave the girls hugs as we went our separate way. I headed to Dr. Samps office. I put my things away. I heard a slight knock on the door.

"Come in," said without looking up.

I stood up from the desk & looked right at Bray Wyatt. I paused at minute.

"Ms. Barnes. I want to apologize for Monday," he says.

"Its Ok, all is forgiven," I say.

"Good, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I heard your daughter was really upset," he says.

"I'm fine. She's ok as well. I hope Hunter & Stephanie weren't to hard on you guys," I said as we walked out of the office.

"They were being them. You have a good evening," he said then walked away.

I watched before I turned around to see Summer Rae.

"So you & Bray Wyatt. I can see it. Hay tell Roman, I mean Joe, I said hi. okay hun," she said too sweetly.

I glared at her as she walked off. I had the urge to just trip her & make her fall flat on her face. I turned & headed toward catering. More & more people started piling in. It wasn't as many as it was on Monday though. I think that it had a lot to do with the fact that this was a house show instead of a taped show.
