Hello. This is a totally random thing but I'm doing it anyways.
I don't know if people have done this yet, and if they haven't, yay to me for inventing something new.
This is a rant about what people need to learn, hence the title 'People need to learn that ___".
If you do rant and talk about people like me, would you kindly tag me so that I know? Thanks. (And no, I'm not asking for attention.)
I'll be filling in that ____ with two things today.
1. People need to learn that their not everyone's top priority.
If you know what I'm talking about, good. If you don't, this is what this means:
Take the scenario that you were walking with a girl that your friend doesn't get along with, but you and this girl are really good friends. Well, the friend that doesn't like the girl was just walking with you but gave the girl a mean look and walked away. And then said friend wouldn't talk to you because you supposedly chose the girl over her or something. This is the same case scenario if the girl was friends with your friend, too. Except it would be a great deal more rude.
The thing is, that actually happened to me. And my friend is trying to be friends with the girl but then gives us that look and walks away.
There's more to that though. Me and this friend had a rough patch where we didn't talk for two months over something deliberately stupid. So in those two months, I talked to this girl A LOT. I started to stop by her locker after one of my classes and talk too.
So then said friend gets jealous because she thinks that all of my attention should be on her. (Said friend is the one I had the rough patch with if any of you are confused).
See, I wanted to shake her and tell her that she needs to stop. Just because we had a rough patch and I apologized doesn't mean I'm going to become instant best friends with you again.
In addition, said friend was walking with me once and asked me this:
"Do you have to walk with that girl today?"
Oh my geez, woman, please get some sense. This girl is my friend too and so is her twin.
Anyways, what I'm saying is that just people in general need to learn that the are not people's top priority 24/7. It's as simple as that.
2. People need to learn that some people just want to be left alone.
I was distant one day and everyone was asking what the hell was wrong with me.
Like, hold up. I want to be left alone, can't you see that?
If I wanted to tell you what's wrong, I would. Other than that, stay away from me.
(Unless your one of my best friends.)
