Heatwave x Chase (Part 2)

Heatwave heard steps approaching. Thinking it was Chase, he peeked behind the wall and saw that it was Quickshadow approaching.He shrugged it off and waited for his amica. It was a quiet day at the training centre, no emergencies, no disturbances.

Chase finally walked down the hallway, Heatwave surprised him and embraced him. 'Hello to you too Heatwave!" Chase said, hugging him back. Heatwave proceeded to kiss him on the cheekplate. 'Love you' he murmured. Chase leant against him, 'Love you too...' Chase muttered back before taking Heatwave's servos and walking towards the others.

Heatwave kissed Chase again. 'Aw look, you two are such a cute couple' Dani cooed. Kade smirked . 'Are you gonna kiss again?' He teased. Heatwave glared but kissed Chase again. 'Aw!' Dani exclaimed. Kade laughed.

'Anyway, where did most of the Bots go?' Heatwave asked. 'Quickshadow went to the communications centre, Blades is visiting Bumblebee, Boulder's out painting, Salvage is back at the Griffin Rock Scrapyard and Blurr's snuck off somewhere..' Dani said. Chase looked at Heatwave. 'Should we go look for him?' He asked. 'Just leave it to Quickshadow, he never listens to me' Heatwave replied. Chase nodded then leant his helm against Heatwave's. 'I suppose we should enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts' Chase muttered.

Heatwave placed his servo on Chase's. 'We should' he murmured. Quiet moments like this always reminded Heatwave of the times in the past where he was tempted to tell Chase how he felt about him. All those missed opportunities to tell him, but surprise ,surprise . Chase has confessed his feelings first. Heatwave remembered immediately embracing him, happily telling Chase his feelings were very much returned, remembering the surprised look on Chase's face. Everyone on the team had seen that the two had chemistry and had been betting on who would confess first. Even Quickshadow, as aromantic as she was , had said "Always could see you two were perfect for each other" before telling Blurr and Blades that she won the bet.

Heatwave smiled at the thought of how accepting everyone was about it, and cuddled Chase closer. 'Heatwave...' Chase said quietly. 'Yes?' He said .

'Do you think we should become Conjunx Endura?'

Heatwave stared at his partner, that was the one question he had always wanted to hear, he had never felt this way about anyone before, and he knew that Chase would eventually become his Conjunx Endura, and now Chase has finally asked for that.

'Called it!' Dani said before Kade reluctantly handed her money. What with with the bets everyone was making?

'Yes Chase, I've never wanted anything else as much as that'
