In the picturesque ranges of Khasi
Stand villages straight out of a painting-Tapering roofs
Colourful walls
Bamboo outhouses
Baskets of pretty flowersGirls with rosy cheeks
Boys with hoola hoops
Old ladies with deep wrinklesTrees teeming with birds
Roads flaunting feminine cuves
Rivers singing of old folklores -To an artificial outsider like me,
Everything is surreal, almost unbelievable.
