Was Rejected, Is Rejecting

Poem Proper:

Long ago, I fell in love with the most beautiful girl.

Her face glows like an angel, her eyes shines like a pearl.

Her lips is red as rose, her skin is white as snow.

Yes, it's in the past right now. It was LONG AGO.

After how many years, you came back pleading.

Apologizing and hoping that I could forget everything.

I must say sorry. I am not the guy that loved before.

I am not that dumb, not to shut the door.

Why did you come back? For what reason?

Trying to convince me with your "impressive" explanation.

Sorry but the pictures of the past remains in me,

And I find it hard to set it free.

You've gone into my house... begged... and tried...

You've been in my school, waiting for me outside.

Don't you think it is so much degradation?

Pity for you because I think it's too much humiliation.

Have you remember the days, our best memories?

Our couple is the greatest among their stories.

We were so in love back then, I thought we'll be forever.

But my visions failed, it won't happen ever.

The day came when you told me, I wasn't enough.

I can't accept it. I think it was a bluff.

I even begged and cried. I did everything.

But what have you done, you chose to give me up for nothing.

I was in pain but I chose to hide it.

My heart is shattered into pieces but I shouldn't show it.

I must ask, what is the point of revealing the pain?

There is no way it will abandon my brain.

You broke my heart and let it die.

You left me with a heartbreaking goodbye.

So if I have you back, people will think I'm numb,

And what do you think I am... Dumb?
