"Wow, I did not expect this. I didn't peg you for a murder. You literally just committed a crime. Thanks to you my shirt is gone." He said staring down into the fire pit which was lit up and his shirt in there, burning away. I rested my hand on his shoulder.
"You should be thanking me Richard, because of me, I ended suffering. My suffering, your shirt's, and all the people who were forced to look at it while you were wearing it. Therefore I am a hero." I said, all while trying to not die of laughter.
"Ella, sometimes you worry me, you really do." He placed a hand on my forehead. "You need a hospital, my dear child. Not even Jesus can help you."
"Nope I need an asylum." I corrected him.
Richard shook his head. "Aye, Ella sometimes I don't even know what to say sometimes." He said.
"Good you talk too much." I smirked and ran. With him behind me.
~One week later~
I got up from the couch and headed into my kitchen in my apartment.
"Hey do you want popcorn?" I asked richard.
"Yes please," He said and he got up from the couch and entered the kitchen. He looked into the cabinets looking for something.
"Can you pass me the popcorn?" I asked him. He tossed them to me and I caught them... sort of. I fumbled with it and then it fell, and I quickly picked it up and went towards the microwave. I opened it a package of popcorn and opened the microwave.
"What are you looking for?" I asked him, seeing as he was still rummaging through the cabinets."
"Cookies." he replied. He opened another cabinet
I press start on the microwave. I turned around and crossed my arms. "What make you think that I would have some?"
He stopped and faced me. He walked up to me and put his arm on the oven drawer. "Because Ella, you always have some." He opened the oven and took out a box go Chips Ahoy cookies.
I smiled. " You know me too well."
"Yup and sometimes it's sad."
He sat back down and played on the movie when I came back in with the popcorn.
