A Secret Kept

Honesty Pt. 3

Time Skip

The girls and I were in my room waiting for their parents to arrive.

Mum came in to my room each time one of their parents and family came.

I was just pacing around my room impatiently waiting for Emily's parents to show up.

"Calm down" Chloe eases

"I can't. I'm having second thoughts" I say in a panic

"We all are Charli" Kelsey says

Just at that moment, mum came in and told us that Emily's parents had arrived.

"Ok girls. You ready?" I asked

"As we'll ever be" they reply.

We walk into the basement where everyone was and my mum was the last to get settled.

"We've called all of you here today to tell you what we are planning to do" I start

"And we are going to reveal a big secret to all of you" Kelsey continued

"We don't know how you will react, but all we ask is that you keep an open mind" Chloe finishes

"Alright girls. So what is this secret you want to share with us all today" dad questions

I take a deep breath and we grab out our Glitter Pacts.

"What are those things?" Myah asks

I just ignore her and Emily shouts . . .

"Alright Girls. It's Glitter Time"

"Right" the rest of us reply

We all transform and finish off with our catchphrases.

"A fabulous shimmer,
A glow in your heart,
I'm Glitter Lucky"

"When you mess with me,
Your playing with fire,
I'm Glitter Sunny"

"Puppies and Kittens,
The power of love,
I'm Glitter Peace"

"A force as strong as life itself,
I'm Glitter Spring"

"Cool and swift as the winter wind,
I'm Glitter Breeze"

"After a sketch finished,
I'm a masterpiece,
I'm Glitter Creative"

"Time to blaze a way to a happy ending"

"You ready girls?" Emily asks

"Shining bright,
Here comes the Glitter Force" we shout as we strike a pose

The light fades and our families are in shock.

I look over my parents and they are just shocked beyond belief.

'They must think I'm not their precious daughter anymore' I thought

My dad walks up to me, and places his hand on my right cheek.

'Here it comes' I thought

He takes his hand off my cheek and turns to walk back to the rest of the family.

He does that, but he only goes halfway.

"How could you keep this a secret from us" he shouts

"Dad please, calm down. I know this is ridiculous, but it's true" I say

"I can't believe that all those time you went out with your friends, you went out fighting"

"That's got nothing to do with this"

"Yes it does"

All those times I went to hang out with my friends weren't always fighting. True we did fight, but we did it to save our world from having an unhappy ending"

"Really. If you were truly fighting to save the world, who were you fighting?"

"Evil villians, like a troll, a joker, a witch and a big bad wolf"

"Really, give us their names!"

"Brute, Rascal, Brooha and I think you can guess who the wolf was"

"Ulric" mum breathed

"Exactly"

"So you are planning to fight them"

"Yes and no"

"Explain"

"We are going to fight Rascal, Brooha and Brute, and while we're doing that, we are going to bring Ulric back"

As soon as dad hears that, he walks over to me, takes my Glitter Compact from its carry case, and breaks it.
